I still think the kid is innocent and I agree with Roher, the police department needs to keep the investigation open to find out who did set this fire and have the prosecuted to the fullest.

Either guilty or not, I think a ten year old does things for the sense of curiosity or the thrill without a true concept of the consequences. Unless he is a young sociopath, which I doubt. I remember being around 9 or 10 and constantly starting small fires in the house. Well a couple anyway. I would get a hold of matches, light them, then blow them out and throw them in the trash. I remember one time that will be etched in my mind forever.. I had the matches, did my usual blow em out in the trash they went. Well one most have not went completely out and my metal trash can was suddenly blazing. My father rushed in my room, picked the can up with his bare hands and carried it outdoors. I was devestated. Then he came back inside and said nothing. He held out his hands and I saw the beginning of these huge blisters starting.. well, I never messed around with matches ever again. I felt so horrible. But before that, I never really understood the risk I was taking or how serious the outcome could be. I am certain this boy never anticipated anything like that would happen. I hope he gets all the help he needs to get through this and if he didnt do this, who did? Do they suspect someone else? Has the child said that someone else did it? I dont have much faith in the Greenville detectives so His family will probably have to prove his innocence.

I'm just glad to see Roher had the balls to fight on this case. I myself was somewhat worried when it was annouced that Roher was his lawyer!

What is that?? it was babies that dies in the fire...whats more Timmy lost his fatehr only a few months before this fire happened....John Carter.....doubt it...why doesnt anyone suspect the guys from New york that were kickin it there and suddenly left....hmmm....see people talk about stuff that they have no idea bout....RIP j'shawn, kayla and jasmine....

What is the status on the case is it still underinvestigation? or closed? were there any other suspects besides little timmy?

haven't seen anything in the paper. Maybe because the child is a minor.
