Kevin Ray Rue, 49, of Versailles, Ohio passed away on Sat., October 3, 2009 at 6:55 AM at his residence. He was born on December 18, 1959 in Miami County, Ohio to his father John Allen Rue of Covington, Ohio and his special friend Pam Davis and his late mother Frankie Francis (Loften) Voisard and step father Cyril Voisard of Bradford, Ohio.
Kevin worked at the Foundry in Russia, Ohio. He was a member of the United States Army, he loves Cleveland Browns football and NASCAR.
In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by his nephew Joshua Rue.
He is survived by; sons, Christopher Rue of Gettysburg, Ohio, Jeremy Rue of Greenville, Ohio and Nick Neil of Greenville, Ohio; daughter, Shawna Rue of Versailles, Ohio; grandchildren, Abbegail Rue, Aaron Bowlin, Destiny Bowlin and Brianna Hanmaker; special friend, Alice Craig of Versailles, Ohio; brothers, Vaughn Rue of Greenville, Ohio and Shawn Rue of Covington, Ohio; sister, Johnetta Rodrigues of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandmother, Dorothea Wilma Schellenberg of Piqua, Ohio; half brother, Gregory Kuykendall of Versailles, Ohio; half sisters, Sheila Sanders and Connie Sanders both of Bradford, Ohio; step brothers, Pat Voisard of Versailles, Ohio, Allan Voisard of Versailles, Ohio, and Brian Voisard of Van Wert, Ohio; half sister, Cathy Baltes of Versailles, Ohio, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a service held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 10:30 AM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery, Brock, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday, October 5, 2009 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. There will be a Military Graveside Service conducted by the Versailles Veterans Honor Guard.
