I know this young man. He is a wonderful person, and it's important to know that he is charged with transferring images that he did not create.

Yes, it's very wrong thing to do and we need to stop this kind of activity for sure. It is disturbing and upsetting and people naturally get scared and assume the very worse.

But I think some residents or readers are assuming more than actually happened. Keep in mind that there is no charge or implication at all that any children were in the proximity of this man, let alone touched or molested.

I believe that this discovery and punishment will be the end of any kind of offense for him. It is a lot to be in prison for three years.

I'm glad he is going to be made to stop it for sure. But please don't assume more than the facts.

I happen to know that he did not realize the depth and possible consequences of his actions, except for the very sad fact that he condoned and used images of minors in a very hurtful and tragic situation. All too often we discover things like this on computers - including ministers, teachers, etc. I guess we never knew the scope of it all.

Not condoning - but stating the truth and belief that this will be the end of it.

Thanks for listening and thinking about this perspective.
