Since alcohol has never caused anything but problems for those that abuse it I say tax it all they want to.
Numbers average around 12,000 per year killed by drunk driving but what is left out most often are the nearly 150,000 per year injured, some for life, due to a drunk driver.

You want to taxes churches, but I bet you whine about separation of church and state when the Ten Commandments are posted on a govt building or school..am I right? Or believe the govt should legalize gay marriage even though marriage is an idea that came from God and the govt shouldn't even be involved in it, because the govt shouldn't be involved in religion and vice versa...right?
