I pray for his family but he knew what he was doing. When you do the amount of drugs he had been doing its eventually going to catch up to you...I just wish druggies would grow up & realize that!! The world would be a lot better place.
If I'm not mistaken 2 different girls he had dated overdoes when he was with them & he left them dead & never spent a day in prison for it...
Trash.
Prayers go out to the sparks family but it was coming.
Ok first off I just wanna say this, ADDICTION DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE! it can get anybody... And addiction is not a choice, it's a disease like cancer.... And for anyone thts been down tht road they know tht it's a daily struggle! It's a sad disease that can make a person lose anything and everything thts dear to them.. Sum ppl do realize they have a problem and stop it b4 it gets too far out of hand by makin one lose their family and material possessions and for sum it ends n death.... And for those of u who have never been n an addicts shoes to walk a mile in their shoes then u have no right to judge! And u can't MAKE a person stop using drugs, the person using the drugs usually don't quit until they admit they have a problem and they have to WANT to change.... Because when u give up the addiction, u usually have to give up the friends u dun drugs with, u basically have to change ppl, places, and things tht r associated with the addiction... One even has to change their way of thinking...... Too bad jarrod didn't get help for his addiction.... May others learn from this tragedy.... God b with his family during their time of loss and sorrow......

I think it's pathetic you sit here and condemn people like that. Addiction is a disease and it's very real. Often there depression that leads to the addiction. People like this need help and they definitely don't need someone condemning them for their issues. I hope that nobody in your family ever faces addiction. Shelia is a good person, yes, she's had some problems, but who hasn't? And sometimes people who are addicted can't be helped unless they want to be helped. Maybe Jarrod didn't want help. Either way, it's a tragedy. It takes a lot of love, willpower and dedication to kick the addiction. I know, it's hit very close to me. With a lot of prayers and love, I've kicked it and I realize that this could've very easily been me.

It's not like cancer. People with cancer do not chose the lives they get delt with. People who are addicts are to blame for addiction because no one else is to blame for the drug abuse but themselves. They are always looking for excuses to make their problem (not disease) better. My mom went to rehab & they tried to feed me the "it's a disease" bull shit & that's stupid. If it is a disease, you bring it upon yourself...not like women with breast cancer.
This is one of the stages of addiction, it's called denial & pushing your problems onto some other excuse.
