Im considering changing my service from at&t to Bluegrass...anyone have any experience? Im curious about price, unlimited text and talk. Also wondering about roaming charges if any? I want to be able to use my phone the same way I would if I had at&t. texting, calling mobile to mobile, surfing/facebooking...etc. Can I do that?

I switched from AT&T to bluegrass about a year ago and have had no problems with bluegrass! Very happy with them. I seriously have service anywhere I go, even better service than I did with AT&T. I do not have "dropped calls" at all!! We have two lines for $100. That includes two smart phones and the data packages. We are not roaming anywhere we go. If you go somewhere where there are no bluegrass towers, you will get your service from the closet tower (most of the time it's Verizon) but its still free, no extra cost. You can go talk to them and see what package is best for you. I will never go back to AT&T. The girls at Bluegrass are very friendly! You should give them a try!

I have bluegrass and love it. I have the iPhone 4S, my bill runs a little higher than AT&T I think but the service is great!

Only switch to BlueGrass if you want a phone that works anywhere and works driving on any road in the US. If everyone knew how much better BG was over AT&T then AT&T would have to close within a month. I wouldn't go back with AT&T if it was FREE after having BG for the past three years.

Ill never go back to at&t. Their home phone service sucks, their cell service sucks. They just suck. I hated when they bought cingular, they were good. Definatly go with bluegrass.

Yes it works everywhere in the county. It also works great in the surrounding counties. There are places in Beechmont, Central City and Greenville, that i do know where AT&T didn't have service but bluegrass does.

Does anyone know if a AT&T iPhone unlocked is compatible with bluegrass? They told me I'd have to bring it in to a technician to see if it is.. I just don't want to buy a iPhone from a friend and then find out that Bluegrass won't let me use it.

When we switched to bluegrass from AT&T we had a 4 that was jail broke. We could not use it. Bluegrass does not use SIM cards at all. But they were actually running a really great deal on their iPhones and got our phone from them cheaper than we would have paid for it.

AT&T has really stepped up and has better cell coverage than they used to in muhlenberg county. I've had bluegrass, Verizon, and now AT&T. Stick with AT&T. The coverage is about the same hive or take a mile. I get service in most places unless I go under a hill. Bluegrass is extremely slow with phone updates, and they have not got a new android phone is for ever. Their LTE service is maybe a megabyte gadget than AT&T 4G. Bluegrass always has terrible technical issues such as getting duplicate messages or not getting any at all. AT&T is the cheapest now for family plans and Verizon the most expensive. Bluegrass is actually more expensive than AT&T now. And bluegrass 3G IS HORRIBLE. They do take so cards for the iPhone and their 4GLTE devices but it won't work with an AT&T phone because they work on two different cell technologies. AT&T is GSM while Verizon/Bluegrass is CDMA. AT&T has the fastest network out of all three too. If you plan to get the iPhone go with AT&T hands down.

If your having trouble with at&t its your own fault. Pay the bill every month and it works fine. I get service everywhere I go. Period!

I agree. Service is just fine. And a lot faster than bluegrass. Even their pseudo "LTE" bluegrass has is slower than old HSPA+ in my area. If Verizon didn't build the LTE network themselves expect it to be slow as hell. When I had Verizon LTE was fast. But in Bowling Green where bluegrass built it, it was slow only getting 5 Mbps. HSPA+ got 6.5

I have an AT&T iPhone (personal) and a bluegrass iPhone (business) once my contract is up with AT&T, I will, without a doubt, switch to bluegrass. I don't even care if it is a higher cost for my pocket. I wish I had known a year ago and I would have never gone to AT&T. I pay my bill every month, to the one that says that will help, it doesn't though. The service with bluegrass is much more dependable an reliable. But you are your own person, so take whichever sounds best. But, from a person who uses both services, bluegrass hands down.
