I hope they don't make us make em all up! It's not our fault that we can't go! Why make us spend most of our summer break in school!?!?

Why not go year round? Why is it the way it is? All studies done have shown that students lose progress in both reading and math over the summer.

Because the kids need to spend time with their family!!! Kids grow up way too fast as it is! I would not want to miss my time with my family to do math that I will never use in life?! Vet wonder why it's called a family vacation?

My daughter will not go the last few days! We have vacation already paid for and I can't or won't not go. I just heard possible last day, I know when her last day will be as a 8th grader

Looks like you got another week with your kids. Take advantage of it. We won't use snow routes with this new supt so that means school through the second week of June even with adding extra minutes. It's ok. We wanted new board and supt and we got it. Now we all will suffer as we realize our kids are not getting a good education.

I hadn't heard but I doubt they would give us 10 days if we take off for spring break. That wouldn't make any sense.

The Board can't forgive 10 days unless Frankfort says it can.

This board does pretty much what it wants too until the Attorney General gets involved and stops them.
