I'll give you credit you are really big on low life, no count republicans that's only goals are to screw the middle class, and suck the rich, as well as the rich scab mines that exploits their employees. You are a big pile of stinking shit, and I imagine not very many people wants to be around your stinking conservative scabby ass. How can you stand yourself. Scabs sets the bar low, so I guess I understand. I have a union pension, A medical card, and pride knowing I'm a life long member of the UMWA. These scabs have nothing except their next paycheck, what a damn shame. And the rich scab owners gets richer.
These "scabs" are keeping your lights on mother fu#ker. Its ironic that while you set at home drawing your sweet Union pension and talking shit others are out earning HONEST money that keeps your little world turning here in muhlenberg county. Hell, it was your kind that ran coal out of muhlenberg in the 80's. I will say that earning 70 to 80 thousand with great benefits on nothing but a high school diploma and no experience is damn sweet. If we can keep you Union RATS out of the pockets of the politicians and keep the politicians out of our way we might be able to keep great employers like Armstrong around for a few years.

You sound like a dumb, insecure, scab that can only see his next paycheck. What retirement benefits is Armstrong offering you? I know the answer NONE. Why don't you think about more than a 2 week paycheck and vote union?

Ive got a 401k, awesome health benefits and the fact that I am making about 40 thousand more than most any worker in Muhlenberg with my age/experience seems to screw up your whole argument. Ive recently read about your union pension...not so stable. My pension is money Ive invested and saved...close to 100k in four years. You are just mad because no greasy union boss can get his hands on that. Again...It says a lot about your intelligence level when you pretext all of your posts with some sort of name calling.

Union pension 7-billion drawing interest. I also have stock investments worth a whole lot more than 100k, I have a medical card. You have a next paycheck job, and enough money in your 401 to pay for a good heart attack, or 6 years insurance payments for you and your spouse. Again, you scabs only see the next paycheck, and that is what the scabby rich coal operators want you to see. They are laughing all the way to the bank. Have a good injury and see how important you are to these scabby bastards. You will be dumped, and quick.

No Doubt. I guess we shouldn't expect much from a guy who goes to the trouble of making up alter egos just to complement himself on topix. His wonderful pension plans held up at gun point by union thugs are so horribly underfunded and unsustainable that the whole State Government is bankrupt. But im sure he would know that if he listened to his honorable leader Steve Beshear at the State of the Commonwealth speech.

There's nothing wrong with these companies making billions of dollars profit, and paying their ceo's 10 of millions of dollars, to contribute a little of their profits to a pension fund for the middle class americans who are working their asses off in order to make all these billions for these greedy rich bastards. You can defend these pricks all the way to their tax free banks in the cayman islands if you want to, I for one believe the hard working employees deserve something. That is the difference of a union man thinking and a suck ass scabs thinking. The prior 2 post falls under the low life suck ass scabs.

Yeah pensions aren't hurting huge companies (GM) at all. http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2012-06-01...

Nor are they causing states to go bankrupt (most states). http://www.pensiontsunami.com/public.php

No everything is fine and the unions lining the pockets of politicians for years promising ppl great pensions down the road and now most of them being unfunded...that's just fine.

Oh that uneducated, country bumpkin ignorance is almost too much to take sometimes.

Go check the cayman Island bank accounts and you will find all the pension money. The wealthy 2% has bought these republican politicians and filled their pockets full of money that could have gone into good pension accounts for their workers who has saraficed their life to labor making these rich bastards all these billions. Now pricks like you try to defend how the rich has screw the hard working middle class. You actually make me sick, with your scab ass attitude.

Scams created between the crooked republican politicians and the crooked rich billionaires and their billionaire corporations to scam the american hard working middle class americans. Many of the citizens in this country make an effort to defend these scams and call it good bussiness sense. I say vote these crooked republicans out of office and that will take these scams away from the rich. Middle class american has been screwed long enough, go into the voting booths and vote for the party who sides with you, vote straight democrat.

<quoted text>This story is very disturbing. A rich scab coal company who was probably in violation of the law get off easy, and an innocent coal miner who tried to improve a hazardous work site is being punished. I admire this coal miner for standing up against this scab outfit. MSHA is the only avenue this man had, and he was fired and sued by this evil scab bunch of no count bastards. I only hope it has a happy ending for this brave miner.

Spoken like a true scab. I know without a doubt the scab operator is totally innocent. I know everything is always the employees fault. You must understand this is how the scab operators wants their employees to think. when you have an injury, or a pro-longed sickness, they will fire your ass and your co-workers can get on this post and defend their scabby bosses. You people are low life, back stabbing individuals who can't be trusted. I am a member of the UMWA and whe wouldn't stand for you back stabbing bastards around us. So, go be a good little suck ass and continue to suck up to all the bosses. Maybe you can get another employee fired.

You might use your scabby muscles to beat an old man to death, but you will still be a low life suck ass scab who can't only be trusted, but also a killer. I guarnatee you that Reuben Shemwell is a good man and was trying to stand up for his safety rights and for that courage he was fired. If he had been working in a union mines the truth would have surfaced. In a scab mines he only has low life boss sucks that defends the scab operator because they fear for their jobs. Kind of sad. Why don't you take your frustrations out on the scab operators, instead of an old man like me. Maybe you need to grow a pair. Say your name, look yourself in the mirror and be ashamed.

If you work for a non-union coal company you are a SCAB miner like it or not in this part of country. As for making $70,000.00 or $80,000.00 a year you're spending lot's of time (more than 40 hours per week)at the mines to earn that much.It just don't add up!!!!!
