Senate Republicans held ranks on Monday and blocked a Democratic effort to overhaul the financial system and crack down on Wall Street.
In a 57-41 vote, Democrats fell short of the 60 votes necessary to proceed to the Wall Street bill.

5. Liberal/Progressive/Democrat
Would he fit right in with the "Jesus crowd"?
The "stingy Conservatives" keep people fed with food pantries, Christian Ministries, Catholic charities where people donate clothes food and cash to help pay utility bills, etc!
I don't see any "Atheist Food pantries" can you point one out?
Maybe Toys from Atheist programs?
I don't think there are any established Atheist organizations, but there are non-Christian charities that contribute. American Red Cross, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Rotary, ACLU. Here is a good link to use before you donate to see where your donation will go. It is pretty good, I have used it for info before. http://www.guidestar.org/

Well, well, well! Obama and his ObaMORONS are learning the meaning of "What goes around, comes around".

For years now they have called Bush every vulgar name they could think of and accused him of being a murderer and a war monger. NOW their messiah is doing the same thing. Wonder how they will attempt to spin Obama's latest oopsie? lmao

Obama is receiving the same intel concerning Syria that Bush received about Iraq. Hitlary Clinton and Crazy Joe Biden were all for that war. Saddam and his soldiers exterminated hundreds of thousands of their citizens. Many were women and children. They were raped and tortured and thrown into mass graves as if they were trash.

NOW...Obama has stated once AGAIN that killing women and kids in Syria is crossing his red line. Hmmmmm...Bush was wrong about Iraq but now that Obama is faced with the same situation...Obama is right. Is that the spin? Come on ObaMORONS, y'all can do much better than that, can't you? lol

The only difference is that Obama is announcing to the leadership in Syria what the US is going to do and when they are going to do it! Whut? Yep! He is giving them enough time to vacate the places that Obama is going to bomb and move things around that need moving. I guess that will be another reason for you brain dead ObaMORONS to brag about how much the Middle East respects the US now that Obama is president.

Just democrats shooting from the lip as usual and the Middle East not giving a damn what Obama says or does. That's how skeered they really are! Putin just pulled his shirt off and had a good laugh.

I notice the only sorce you cite is a liberal website! I lived the Carter term, I remember the lines at the employment office, that streched 1/2 mile outside the building! I admire the man Jimmy Carter, but he did not create 9 million jobs, and if not for Obama he would have gone down in history as Americas worst President!

I'll help you with Repub job plan and tax plan for middle class Americans.
.
Washington (CNN)-- Senate Republicans on Thursday blocked the No.1 item on the president's congressional "to-do-list," refusing to allow a vote on a bill that would give tax breaks for companies that "insource" jobs to the U.S. from overseas while eliminating tax deductions for companies that move jobs abroad.
.
And who can forget the Repubs holding 98% of America hostage if the top 2% got a tax increase?

You are to stupid to debate any issue with, The Republican party is the only hope middle class Americans will ever have! by middle class, I refer to working class; not the welfare rideing trash your party and your President support. I am so sick of Democrats "claiming" they support the working family, it's a Goddamn lie, and you, like your party are a Goddamn liar!

Here is the bill. I briefly read it not long ago, but to tired right now. Heck I have provided the ACA bill and it doesn't appear opponents don't want to read it, but this is shorter than that bill.

Do you remember where you've been?
Life. No one gets out alive.
One night I dreamed of walking along the shores of different lands.
I could tell that You were with me by the footprints in the sand.
As I gazed upon the heavens, I saw pages of my life.
It was then I realized that You remained there by my side.
When the clouds began to gather and the rains came falling down,
I looked to only find one set of footprints on the ground.
I said, "Lord, why did You leave me in the troubled times of life?
I believed that You would always walk beside me day and night." (Then I heard:)
"My precious child, I'd never leave you.
I have carved you on the hollow of My hand.
It's then I carried you in My arms,
When you see one set of footprints in the sand"
Dear Lord, will You be with me as I travel through the years?
Will You be there in the struggles? Will You wipe away the tears?
As my eyes turn toward the ocean and the shores of distant lands,
I'm still thinking of the single set of footprints in the sand.(I heard Him say:)
"My precious child, I'd never leave you.
I have carved you on the hollow of My hand.
It's then I carried you in My arms,
When you see one set of footprints in the sand."
Will I hear the angels singing, as my life comes to an end.
Oh Lord, I long to see You. Will You be there once again?
My eyes turn toward the heavens, along the path of foreign lands,
Once more, I'm thinking of the set of footprints in the sand.(Jesus said:)
"My precious child, I'd never leave you.
See your name carved on the hollow of My hand.
I'm here to carry you to your home.
You will see one set of footprints in the sand.

The Anvil Of God's Word

Does the Bible Change?

Last eve I passed beside a blacksmith's door
And heard the anvil ring the vesper chime;
When looking in, I saw upon the floor,
Old hammers worn with beating years of time.

"How many anvils have you had," said I,
"To wear and batter these hammers so?"
"Just one," said he; then with a twinkling eye,
"The anvil wears the hammers out, you know."

And so, I thought, the anvil of God's Word,
For ages, skeptics blows have beat upon;
Yet, though the noise of falling blows was heard,
The anvil is unharmed - the hammers gone.
~ John Clifford
