I played flute when he was band director and all the "molestation" stuff went down.... I'm curious what he's up to now. He was always kind to me and I want to let him know I'm thinking of him! He was a HUGE influence in my life!

Pogue was a great band director and is a cool guy. Being in his band was a blast and was def an influence on my life. It taught me how to kick people's ass with music. Thanks Pogue, for putting an edge on our band experience like no one else could.

I think he was a great band director too. I am glad to hear he is doing well now. I think he made some unwise choices with a few students. However, I think is was wrong and sad how his personal life was allowed in come into play in the court room. However, it shows strength and resilence to be able to do well after all that mess of the past. As they say, living well is the best revenge for those who wish bad things on you.

Sounds like the Micheal Jackson saga to me!!! I guess parents shouldn't send children to teachers houses overnight. I understand he was homosexual and this was brought into the trial. Not all child molesters are homosexuals. Sins are sins whether small or large. What is your story!!!

He has denounced the gay lifestyle, became "straight" and has fathered nine children of his own (six boys, three girls). He married a former Lesbian who has also denounced the gay lifestyle. He makes his living as a professional wrestling promoter (his wife is a wrestler). They now live in McMinnville Tennessee in a gay-ted community! They have a statue of Jesus in the front yard.

My story is your an ass for defending this asshole.. End of story. Do I have sins? Yea, who doesn't.... but molesting a child??? No. Nothing close. Kerry put on a pretty damn good show when it came to manipulation. Don't put the parents down for putting trust in a person who came across as the "best teacher in the world". He knew how to play the game and he played it well.... he did ALOT of damage to ALOT of people who believed in him.

I am not defending him for molesting a child. God bless, no child should ever be put through this horrible experience. Back 25 yrs ago, I guess people were more trusting of others than they should be. I am glad I do not have to live with this over my head. However, he does have to live with this on a daily basis. Unfortunately the child will never forget it either. He should have left the area and he did. How could he ever rectify the hurt and heal the child that was a victim? Never...
