<quoted text>Has happened to me personally. They had to go back to the Water Department any way so it saved no time and was their fault. Drive them home at night and on the weekend and park them then, don't run your errands about town and all over burning up gas and putting excess miles on the vehicles. It is stealing and they need to be held accountable. We have had 2 water rate increases in the last two years and they keep wanting more money. There must be some accountability. If you don't agree with this then you probably work there or have close family that is mooching off the system.
The school board makes their maintenance men park their truck. What's the difference? If a freezer goes down, water leak or some other emergency happens at night or weekend they have to go all the way back to Powderly to get their truck and equipment. They had been driving them home since the 1970's but Don Richey thinks that's a perk so they are now parked.

That's awesome and what needs to happen. Everybody at the water department has a department vehicle to drive. Sounds like we need a concerned citizens for Muhlenberg County Government Accountability group. Our county has lots of waste and when the coal severance dollars go away (which they soon will) our taxes are gonna go through the roof here. Watch, it will happen about the end of ole Drunk Ricky's next term around 2018 if not sooner. Mark my words it will happen.
