Lord have mercy. These are exposed to today's music and TV. It's not the first time they have heard language. Maybe they need their little feelings hurt instead of being told that it's ok not to be the best they can be. Best be prepared for life and realize it isn't ok to be a loser.

Have any of these kids never watched tv?
The hs coaches probably use adult language too.
They will soon hear from other kids as well. It is not 50s anymore.

Something more than just a cuss word or two happened. Is it the first time they've heard these words? No. But remember, these are 11 and 12 year old kids, not 17 and 18 year old High School kids.

11 and 12 years olds are having sex, doing drugs, and in some areas kill people. A coach yelling curse words is a little tame these days don't you think?

would you let your kid listen to music that had profanity or watch a vulgar movie? If so then you are as bad as the coaches. Plus, need I remind you, it's football someone is going to get yelled at from time to time. No one says anything ( especially in this county) if a basketball coach yells or cusses. But if I football coach talks above a whisper ( sarcasm) everyone loses their minds.

You generally get less than you try for. Those in charge of children should be held to the highest standard. We know the real word can be mean and we contribute to the problem when we lower the bar.

Good point. However, I can think of worse things the coaches could have done. Instead of focusing on what they did ( which truthfully was unbecoming of a coach) lets look at the big picture. Things could have been a lot worse. Ever hear of Penn St.?

What exactly did they do?

What did they do that made them fall from grace?

So these guys were asked to resign from coaching but still allowed to keep their teaching aide jobs in the schools? Why did the board not let them go from their regular jobs? I don't see why make them quit coaching but let them be in schools with the same kids. Don't know all the details. Just wondering.

But listen...These coaches should be role models to our kids. Yelling cuss words at them and insulting them is not a positive role model.
