Quite judgmental you are for everyone that has ever graduated from this school. I graduated in 2003 and your company is supposedly not going to hire anyone from that high school. Why don't you do that for every high school that's had a horrible thing happen like;you probably won't be able to hire anyone.

oh and it probably wouldn't hurt to tell the homeowning taxpayers who live in that school district too.

I live in Delaware and what's written up at the top is barely anything about the actual thing. Our newspaper described a whole lot more. The 15-year-old boy's mother said he is bi-polar and "addicted to sex" he actually doesn't go to Dickinson, he goes to a special education school but is on a Dickinson sports team because his school doesn't have one. To whoever said they need to throw him in jail, they can't because he's to young. They sent him to a correctional center named Ferris. Here's the newspaper article.

As I already explained, the only way to generate a response from the negligent administrators is to say something like that and have it be heard by Alumni and parents. this prompts the requisite outrage (that should already exist when a woman has been raped) to facilitate change. I wouldn't turn anyone down because of where they went to school but someone needs to do something to bring about change from the pathetic faculty at this student rapist's school.

No such thing as too young for Juvie. lock him up now and prepare for his 18th birthday when we can move him to bigboy jail. then THROW OUT THE KEY!!
sex offenders need to die. as painfully as possible.

I still need to know... where are the angry feminists? do they care about women or do they care about their agendas? I feel like I am angrier than the womens' movements.

Sanguinarian,

You don't quite understand the concept or equity of bias. You claim a woman can be bias in this case yet you are a man supporting a thug and you seem to indicate that you are free of bias?

I am a man - explain where my bias exists.

I understand your rage but I believe that you have a somewhat biased opinion since this "supposed" rape happened to a woman and you are a woman as well.

The time has come to begin revealing the names of alleged minors when they participate in adult crimes. Maybe the govt. should start advertising on billboards, the name, parents names, etc. of these little cretins. But then, it may make little difference since they are all without feeling or conscience. They can't feel shame or remorse.
no need to reveal names he would be the one with no pecker he ever attacked one of my clan!

I go to the school and it is not the schools fault. Apparently the kid had other charges from when he was 11 12 13 14 and 15 years old but these charges where withheld information from the school. He doesn't go to Dickinson he goes to a special needs school and the sate says to let those kids participate in afterschool activities. I am also on the football team and know the boy. I was also friends with the women he raped and it kills me inside just imagining the pain she is going through. They say he was a violent person but at practice he never maned up. He was always getting dominated so I guess he just acts like that around women because he is stronger then them. I hope he is tried as an adult but the sad fact is he won't. They say he is special but if you met him you would never know it. He knew what he was doing.

SHE WAS DOING HER JOB! HE WAS HIDING AND ATTACKED HER. YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM IF YOU BLAME THE VICTIM. I HOPE IT DOESN'T TAKE SOMETHING LIKE THIS TO HAPPEN TO A FEMALE MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY TO CHANGE YOUR ATTITUDE ABOUT RAPE.

so really, are the women's groups going to say anything about this?
or is this woman's victimization not congruent with their goals?

No one is responding to you repulican bob because you're getting on their nerves. You don't need to keep repeating yourself!

I am a special ed teacher and must say I am tired of the criminals continuing to get away with these acts and blame it on their "disability". The schools never want to go against the kid because they are afraid of losing the lawsuits from the parents. I got into special ed to help students and it totally turns me off and makes me want me to stop when I continue to see this happen with the school boards. One of my family members was assaulted by a "special ed" kid and nothing came of it. He was allowed back into the school after 2 days suspension. Hopefully, this incident will wake them up and they'll finally do something!
My thoughts and prayers are with the victim.

Concerned mother - I hope you are right - while it is admirable to attempt to keep troubled children (or adults) within the free public society there has to be a point at which the safety of the public outweighs the opportunity and attempt to help them.

This individual seems to have crossed my line of tolerance and the results is a long line of people hurt and now one person whose life is painfully altered forever.

I know we can't lock up every person we perceive as a threat to societal norms, but clearly we an do better than we have been doing.

You sir are sick for suggesting institutional punitive sanctions/actions against unknowing innocent children. What a coward picking on youth. As minors they do not have the financial, social or political resources and are thus powerless to change their environment until they have the means to get out of what is a painful, traumatic and dysfunctional environment. Atleast allow those who learn and desire for better in the midst of chaos to have a real fair shot at a decent life. You sound like the nazis, who blamed others for everything including their own angry murderous tirades instead of manning up and cease being cowards. Idiot. Lumping all of these children in the same punitive category with a rapist is sick and you sir need help fast. I pray you find some for the sake of people everywhere who are unknowingly harmed by the mental attitude of folks like yourself. And we say racism does not exist, yeah right.

and you're a poorly educated tool if you think such a sanction would ever get to the table.
it's called bargaining. the parents hear of the idea, the parents take action against the adult school administrators. why am i explaining negotiation to someone who probably never sat in a board room.
go watch oprah and shut up.
