My husband is a truck driver and he was driving south bound when the accident happened earler today. He said that the tanker was turned over and one car was split in half with the entire roof being detached from the bottom portion of the car. At that time the interstate had not been closed. That was around 12 eastern. On his way back around 8 eastern he said that the interstate was still closed and traffic was detoured to take a route that put you back into Montgomery.

We were stuck in that wreck traffic for 2 1/2 hours on our way back from Florida. I am sorry for the family of the person who died in that accident.
