Why would you get on here and slur people like that and try to get something bad started about them? Same thing happens all the time on topix. just a place to start lies or rude comments on someone that another person is angry with.

They've never been rude to me!!! They've always been nothing but nice!!! So what if they're kinda slow, it's truly not that easy to stand on your feet all day in the same spot and ring up groceries. Sounds easy until you do it, it get's heavy after a while. Most of them are a little up there in their years, and have been working there for as long as I can remember. I'm 30 years old now. Maybe if you just smiled and said hello how are you, they'd be a little nicer, but when you go in tapping your foot ready to be done yesterday, then yes should be rude, personally, if it was me doing it, when I seen someone acting like that, i'd go slower on purpose!!!

I stopped shopping there because I recently returned unopened items that were expired. I purchased them a few days ago, returned them because they had been expired for months! When I showed my receipt and ask for those items to be replaced they acted as though I was intentionally annoying them. Rude! I will go to Krogers.

I agree, standing on your feet all day in one place is rough on your back & I'm sure there are many rude people who pass thru their lines all day long BUT when a customer is polite, speaks, & is spending their hard earned $ at your store, which helps pay your salary, then a decent "hello" goes a long way for a customer. I had no choice but to go there the other day after work. The weather was bad & I chose to get the basic necessities there instead of Walmart. BIG mistake. The prices were higher than Walmart, just for milk & a loaf of bread! I smiled & said hello to the cashier & she gave me a mean look & no reply. I thanked her & the end of the transaction & said, "have a nice evening miss". Once again, no response just a mean look. The bag boy was extremely nice, even offered to take the bag of groceries out to the car for me even in the rain. He was more friendly than the cashier & he was the one with the crappy job in the horrible weather! The prices are ridiculous, cashiers roll their eyes when they see you with a full cart even if paying cash. It's nothing like when Applegates ran it years ago. It was a friendlier atmosphere & even a little cheaper too. Like I said, I know their job is not easy, but anyone working in the public knows people are difficult & you can't punish the next person you see for what the last one did!

I worked for 2 plus years there and I needed the job or I would have left the first week.. My job along with others was to change the prices at the first of the month so the old people and people on food stamps would pay more. We worked long hours making sure that all prices were changed, especially the staples, like coffee, milk, bread, juice and so forth. I quit and have never spent another penny in that store and neither has my family. The economy is hard enough without price rip offs. I shop at Aldi and Kroger now. Thanks

Lol someone told me about this. This is funny but I work there and like it. I've been treated pretty good for a minimum wage job. I think I treat everyone pretty nice and respectful but I know everyone has they're days.

u must be talking about the one that acts like she is terrified that she might accidently touch your hand when handing out change. She doesnt smile alot or talk alot, but I bet she is much friendlier than she appears. I think she is just the quiet shy type. I have seen some small smiles from her
