[Just want to know]

Why does everyone think that KDMT would be good for this county? The only thing that KDMC is good for is buying up everything they can get their hands on. If you ask me you let them in here and we are all done for!!!!!!!!

I think they are a big joke. Most of the people that work there now worked at portmouths. Just because they changed their name doesn't mean that the care will be any better. I hope they never come pick me up.

all I know is when u see the kdmt trucks their all new and look nice, the employees are all in new uniforms and seem nice. On the other hand the greenup county trucks look horrible! Old, most have Hub caps missing, always dirty covered in mud and bugs. And the employees must design their own uniforms cause they never match. Most wear t shirts with worn off writing and ball caps with everything from uk to some fire dept saying on them.just looks like greenup is the trailor park ems of the county.... And that's being harsh to people in trailor parks!

The employees at GCEMS that I have dealt with have all been professional. We couldn't have asked for better care. It is my understanding though that the management at GCEMS leaves a lot to be desired. It is said that they have to rob supplies from other ambulances before they can make a run. Their ambulances are racking up the mileage and the management doesn't see to care. I think KDMT will be a big improvement as far as equipment reliablity. It is my hope that they only hire the best of the best when it comes to their employees also. Time will tell.

KDMT has already hired the employees they want from GCEMS. The rest are on a slow decline to unemployment and they just will not accept it. GCEMS management is the problem. The tax board needs to wake up and realize that Buddy and Jeff are not the answer to running their ambulace company. KDMT will not have to work hard to take over all of Greenup County. The tax board will let Buddy go unchecked long enough to do it for them and all the secret meetings that the employees have will not fix anything. Unless the tax board takes over and gets rid of GCEMS the people will beg KDMT to step up and do whats right. in ten years Buddy has ran into the ground what it took AV, Harold M. and Ron B. 20 years to build. Sorry but that the FACTS.

They are a joke. I had to call 911 and that is who came. I looked out the door to see where they were and they were just setting there not in any hurry. They were trying to leave without even taking my boyfriend to the hospital. They didn't even help him down the stairs or nothing. I left like five minutes after them and they had just pulled up when I got there. My boyfriend got to the hospital just in time. He had a really bad sezier and had to be put on a vent and put in ICU.

I heard today that gcems has a deal with Olbh for sponsorship! That Olbh is paying them a whole $25,000.00 a year to put their logos on their trucks! How pathetic! I guess if they have enough sponsors it MAY help a little. I can see it now, Greenup ambulances stickered up like nascars! thats funny because you speak of there managers lmfao... boy you must be a complete dumbass. bryon the medic has quite a bit of ems experience, but people doesnt know he got fired from portsmouth ambulance back in the day for stealing drugs off the truck. and mark lmao hes the biggest dipshit of the two. he cant even do his own job descri[tion as a basic emt, how can he run an ambulance service. so what abotu there hiring sign? hiring experienced emts and paramedics? thats right most of the douche bags they have working there is right out of class lmao. so until you know what your talking abotu shut the fuck up!!! hows that.

You are so right..MAMAGEMENT is the problem.. Buddy Gallion is the main Problem. He has a ninth grade education and he controls the Board. He makes big money and makes stupid management decisions and he is capable of manipulating the board to his advantage. He gets about $2,000.00 a month retirement from Flatwoods. He has a big farm down on Alcorn, a new car, a new truck, a new tractor, a Harley Davidson, a jeep and a boat. He spends hundreds of dollars a month on K Pennington (his married girlfriend) they go out of town quite often and he only beds her in the best motels.

GCEMS is suffering at the hands of Gallion and his pals and the people that pay the taxes to support the GCEMS are supporting his lavish lifestyle.

FIRE GALLION AND REPLACE THE BOARD AND YOU WILL SEE A MUCH IMPROVED GCEMS

AV, Harold, & Ron stole the tax board just as blind as Buddy, Jeff, & Glen have been doing... one or two people on the tax board trying to make a change just isn't good enough to get it fixed. the cities need to replace the ones who have been there for so long and just do the status quo. Revitalize the tax board, & have them run the service, don't bid it out to thieves & advertisers. ambulances should never be a billboard, it's more important whats in the ambulance, not stickered on the outside. I challenge anyone who has ever commented on one of these threads to attend a tax board meeting to help get something done before you need to dial 911 for an ambulance...

BOHICA.I went to tax board meeting and made some recommendations about replacing certain ones.. IT DID NO GOOD....Gallion has got the board in his pocket and the City Officials who appoint the board doesn't care...Until they do Gallion will keep getting wealthy on our tax money....SEE they got rid of Glen, so Gallion wouldn't have to take a pay cut..Glen is a heavy drinker, like Gallion..WELL Gallion finally got saved and is in church>>WHAT A JOKE....He just won't confess all of his sins,,like sleeping with another man's wife..
