Greenup County Football is in such bad shape that there is no interest from anyone to even apply for the job. Mr. Hall has expressed that he and the board will allow Mullins to stay as Head Coach.

If you have a kid that is good and has any future in footbal you need to transfer them to another school quick. Gonna talk my brother in sending my nephew to Raceland where a kid can get a understanding of good football and being part of winning program.

We are screwed. To late to transfer for us unless we move. Maybe we can just flip over to soccer. I know that we will not be part of Greenuo County football next year.

Greenup County HS has no athletes to support Mullins. No speed or strength on this team.

Get real.

Show a little support for GC. I'm glad they're keeping him. Support Coach Mullins and give him a chance to turn the program around. I'm not one of these people who make excuses for the losses, blaming it on the schedule or parents or whatever. It is what it is, GC's football program is in bad shape and was well on it's way to what it is now when Mullins stepped in as head coach. I'm not sure anyone who would accept Greenup's pay could've done any better with things the way they were when Mullins took over. The good news is now that Mullins has been there for 2 seasons, so he knows what's messed up and what needs fixed. He can start working on finding solutions to these problems now. Coach Mullins is from GC, played football on the same field as the players he coaches, if nothing else show him some support for that. Keep in mind that Rome wasn't built in a day. Have a little patience and some faith that he can turn this program around.

Moving On

Think we may just pack our bags and move on to Raceland. Not only for football but for education.

I never did like for a parent to move a kid. until now! I have been talking about moving mine, Hate to. For starters, Logan shouldnt be allowed to keep kids year round. Mercy, Let Warnock, Bays or Coldiron coach the boys! We would all stand a better chance!

The problem is everybody running their mouths that dont know anything. You want to bring in a new coach WOW so he can start over again why cant you give Coach Mullins a chance it takes more than 2 years to turn things around in the right direction. So changing coaches is not what we need..We need parents who want to be involved instead of bitching about everything. We also need county wide support they support every sport but football I dont think that is fair..I know the last 2 years have been rough but you need to understand what shape it was in before Mullins even took over he was really handed a bad deal...I think it takes guts to go out on that field and I think they need to be supported and I will be a fan winning season or losing season because thats what supporters do..

Everybody wants to change schools so their kid can play football somewhere else then so be it but if your kid is a strarter at Greenup what makes you even think they will be somewhere else.If Greenup is such a bad team with bad players with no talent why in the world would another school want them.

I would have let that one slide. Looks even worse when u correct him and have to put in the big 0-20. Actually 0-22 if u go back to Copley. Just leave well enough alone. 40-0 actually looked nice.

These kids were winners in the 7th and 8th grade and they get to the High School and they are losers playing against the same kids that they played against as 7th and 8th graders. The only thing that has changed is the coaches. So, that seems to me to point out that the coaches are the problem.

The 7th and 8th graders back then were 9th and 10th graders this season playing against 11th and 12th graders.

If they get into the weight room and condition in the off-season like they should, then they will win. If they choose not to work, then 0-10 will happen again.

Well your last sentence says it all. "If THEY choose not to work". That's a coaching problem. If "THEY" want to play football the coach should demand they train. No weight traning over the summer, no playing in the fall.

This is a district problem as the kids will not work in the weightroom as needed. It requires too much work. The kids and their parents of Greenup County do not like to work hard.

There are kids who show up to work out, but they don't have a plausible training program right now! Until Mullins starts taking his job serious, nothing will change. He is ultimately responsible for making sure that the weight-training program is effective. He doesn't even show up and the ones that do, don't have a clue. These kids aren't as dumb as you all might think, even they know when they are wasting time.If Mullins has learned anything he should have learned how to run a weight-training program from Copley! Copley's weight-training and speed training was not only effective but it bred confidence and self-pride!

Copley left because he knew the stable was barren.

End of story.

Your boys will not work in the weightroom to get better.
