How and where did you wake up married?? I think you have up to 2 months to annul a marriage after it happens, which would work out great for you since Dec. 31 is less than that away. You will get to claim 'married' for the tax year 2009 and get much more back in taxes, then get that annulment within the next two weeks after that!

I can tell you from personal experience, I married a person i didnt know at ALL i mean knew them a total of a few days then married them and i check with the court house immediately after it all went down hill (which wasnt too long after the marriage , go figure lol) and the state of Ky doesnt do annulments... you have to get divorced, the only reason you can get an annulment is if you have certain reason and i think they were medical reasons like if you were not able to have children and didnt find out until after you were married and he wanted children that kind of thing... but its hard they basically made me get divorced....
