Each meeting has one view, and it was me!

Audio not too good. Need to get a better video camera or a better audio recorder.

interestingly enough...I talked to the "professionals" who installed the sound system at City Hall and they said that should be no problem. There have been times you cannot hear them standing in the back of the room.

I also talked directly to the Mayor and he said one of the buttons was not properly adjusted and he was going to try and "mark" them in case they get turned to the wrong place. So hopefully soon, it will be taken care of so that everyone who is complaining about the volume (including the FAA in the FOIA info I received from them) will be able to hear what is going on in our community.

I know. I wasn't really complaining, I was fishing.

But a big part of the problem could be your own cheap equipment.

I know the "professionals" that installed the equipment and they do very good work.

I don't think that the City is required to even have a PA system. Can't find that requirement in the open door law. Maybe it would be better if they just shut it off. You could run your own mike to the center of the room.

the whole point is there are times you cannot hear standing present in the back of the room...and I was not the only one who commented on that either.

You may not think there is a problem but that is not the indication i got from the Public Access Counselor for the State.

I was personally willing to buy cable and splice it in but was told that shouldn't at all be necessary by the professionals that installed and provided the sound equipment.

When i emailed the Mayor, the state public access counselor and the professional...i provided links to show that not only was my camera working great....but also to show when their sound system worked and did not work . When it is working there is absolutely no problem..... and as the Mayor indicated to me....one of the buttons was way off and providing a problem that he felt would fix it.

we'll see.

Do you reimburse the City of Greensburg for the use of their electricity or do you use a battery? If the former is the case do you think ?

That's a cop-out, if you have it just do your normal cut and paste.

I don't want it that bad, although it is public information. I do keep a standard request for public document form in word and have used it many times at the clerk's office and courthouse, so yes I can get it and any other public document.

I also think I can get copies of all the emails you have sent to the FAA, I just have to word the request properly.

It is rumored that had to hire someone just to handle all the repetitious emails you send them Ad nauseam. Whenever you get a response you don't like, rather than accepting the response, you just keep sending it to more and more people in the FAA and other agencies (wasting tax money).

It's people like you that force the media to put quotas on letters to the editor.

It is called a FOIA request and anyone can apply for one to obtain information. As a matter of fact the first FOIA request (which was huge and the COncerned Citizens of Dec. Co paid for) is on file on CD at the library for anyones use. All subsequent FOIA requests were nearly as large or time consuming.

We (the Concerned Citizens) request these periodically on the advice of our attorney.

Well thanks for the information, I didn't know that.

Wonder what FOIA means?

Let's see, Freedom of Information Act maybe?

Riddle me this, what's up with the concerned citizens of Decatur County, county residents don't pay city property taxes, isn't this a COI with your statements about the BOAC residency?

Keep spending your money. It's a gas.

Yep!!! you are right ! I agree!! County residents do not pay City taxes!!! that is why the CITY airport board should not have the majority of it's board members living in the county and not paying City taxes.

The "Concerned Citizens" are concerned because through eminent domain man of their land will be "taken" from them and it becomes quite likely they will also be "annexed" into the City.....whether again...they want to or not...which will make "them" City taxpayers at that point.

Oh and then there is the fact that many of Concerned Citizens of Decatur COunty actually do live in the City of Greensburg and pay City taxes already...as Greensburg is "in" Decatur County.
