yes , they are laws to live by...for all of us. and as I indicated (in previous biblical quotes) we are our brothers keepers. in knowing those laws do you think we are to give our approval if someone we know is sinning in this manner?....or are we to love the sinner and hate the sin? you do realize that we can be inclusive in this sin, or any sin,if we allow them to believe in any way that we support them in their sin? that would include dismissing any responsibility that we have in being our brothers keeper. If you truly love someone as God does you support them in their actions according to the 10 commandments, but you do not support them in their sin against those 10 commandments. that is the most loving action you can take for another. many believe that you support someone, irregardless,(pardon the pun) come hell or highwater. that is doing a great injustice to someone you care about and proclaim to love and also makes you complicit in their sin. |

I know many gays that I consider my friends. i have employed gays. all people are our brothers and sisters and as I explained above we are to do our best to lead by example in trying to get our brothers and sisters to Heaven. as for myself and womens rights.... i am not a "libber". I do not think the world revolves around "women". egual pay for equal work done is different than actually being equal. i like being different from men as God intended. If you want to call me a "bible thumper", I want to thank you and will embrace that fully...only in the knowledge that I know I am a sinner as well and doing my best to do better. |

1 Second, the Bible says nothing about Lesbians. It only condemns male-male homosexuality. Third, 2 Samuel 1:26 even says outright that King David preferred male love over female love - and Christ is descended from David. Fourth, the Bible says having sex while a woman is having her period is ALSO an abomination, so if you think that is forgivable, then so is homosexuality, since it is described in the same terms. Fifth, although Paul excplicitly condemns homosexuality in the New Testament, he also condemns female spirituality and female leadership. He was very anti-female and anti-gay. Churches tend to ignore most of his anti-women rants, so why not ignore his anti-gay rants? According to Paul, a woman who doesn't keep her hair under cover is committing a horrid, horrid sin. Most churches ignore that. "For God so loved the World that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" It does not say "that whoever believes in him AND is not gay should have eterinal lfie..." Just, whoever. Regardless of gender or sexual orientation. |

And when they insult us and maybe even spit on us, we are to do just like Jesus did during the Passion – Turn the other cheek and ask God to forgive them. Why? Because no servant is greater than his Master (John 13:16). Jesus said that they hated Him, and they will hate us too if we follow Him (John 15:18).
