Pay is every two weeks unless u hire under a temp agency then u r subject to their pay policy. Once again overtime is dependent on which department u work in and your position. Some departments work more overtime than others on a daily basis and u r not guaranteed a timely notice. Saturdays car production schedule has been cancelled for now due to the acura's weak sales but we were planning on working every other Saturday through Sept. and Oct. if sales would have been better. For now though their r no saturdays scheduled but it can change in at any time without notice. They call that buisness needs and is a loophole in the handbook they use quite often.

The test is some basic math questions that are timed, audible comprehension and a big ole personality test. Not sure how great the benefits are, but I know they are all paid for by Honda. You don't have to pay any extra from what I understand which is awesome. I'm going in for the physical on the 20th so I can't say from first hand experience. There is definitely a lot of negative stuff on here about working there, but I know for me and my situation it is worth it, especially in this economy. I'm a practicing lawyer and can't find anything and would be happy to take the honda job if i get it.

what do you mean by audible comprehensive I'm not sure what that is you say its basic math is that just adding and subtracting?how long ago did you take the test and how did you find out you passed why does it that long to get to your physical they must want to hire you if they want you to do a physical.

The audible comprehension is like a following directions test nothing hard. The math is general arithmetic like u would have in high school classes. Benefits are all paid for by honda except ur deductible it is all spelled out for u in orientation when u r hired. The job is a secure one been there several yrs and have not seen one layoff but also u must be able to actually do manual repetative labor. No heavy lifting really but if u've never worked in a factory before some find it unberable. I've trained nurses, teachers, and salesmen and have seen all of them leave because of the job is so boring and they can't handle the physical aspect of the job. U will feel pain in arms and legs, back, shoulders, fingers etc. but for those of us who suffer through it for yrs u find the tradeoff of a secure, good benefits, and good paying job.

I took the test yesterday through a temp service I pasted the test.
a lot of people didn't. I did my drug test and more paper work also.
they called me last night to set up a physical. Sounds like the physical can be a snag for a lot of us. I'm going for it, but don't
know if I'm going to make. Wish me luck my physical is not till the 17th. They do hire temps.

the test is normally taken at the greensburg learning center on lincoln street yes it takes about 4 hrs. i took the test yrs ago when they were in their first round of hiring. it took about 3months before they got back with me about an interview but they were not crunched 4 time like they r now. they will be hiring 300 b4 end of yr. best estamite i can give is that they've already hired between 75 to 100. new people come in every week. of those each week they may retain about 40% by end of three months. turnover is high.

I put in a resume in 2011 and took my test in August 2011 they sent me a letter that I passed their test and they would be calling me for and interview. I didn't here from them again until July 27 of 2012 to schedule my interview. I had my interview on August 4 2012, and I just heard from them today September 6 to schedule me for my physical and uniform fitting on September 22nd. Still waiting....lol

Does anyone know what type of drug test they do? Most companys do a tier 5 test which is most common drugs. But the higher tiers test for over the counter drugs as well. Any ideas?

if u go back and take the time to read a few of past weeks post u will find a lot of info on the pretest. But again the test consists of general math that if u took any math in hs then u will b fine. Tests r taken at the Greensburg Learning center on lincoln street. the same road as mcds, arby's and taco bell. Lincoln street is right off of hwy 3. Their is a green sign that says learning center on lincoln street down past hospital and b4 u get to circle k.

I'm not sure why you guys are calling the test a pretest, because this ws he only tet that was given. The test consist of comprehension and algebra, and they will send you a packet to study from. I promise you that ifyou actually study the packet you shou;d pass the test. The test will be given at the Greensburg Learning center at 422 East Central Ave. Greensburg, Indiana 47240
