It was my aunt and cousins house. Janie and Scotty Anderson. It was my aunts boyfriend that passed from the fumes, Gerald Mckinsey. They aren't sure how the fire happened but it happened this morning around 8

Gerald had the ability to make everyone he came in contact with view the world from a different better perspective...funny, caring, and just wanted good things. You just don't find too many people like him. He will be missed and thought of dearly. Heaven sure got a good guy ~

Thanks for all the support guys, i havent slept for 2 days. the horror me and my mother induced trying to rescue Gerald will be seared into our memories forever.
A brief, summary of what happened. I slept at a friends house and asked my mom for a ride home at 9:30, we arrived at my house before 10:00 am. my mom mentioned something about the furnace exhaust emmiting alot of smoke. i seemed to be fixed on thinking about sleep because i dont remember her saying that(I didnt sleep the night before) i walded up to my house and i could hear a faint beeping sound, since we live close to the honda plant i looked into the distance and shrugged my shoulders. I opened the door and a wall of white smoke from the floor to the cieling barreled over me like a wave. I gasped and consumed a large amount of fumes and dropped to my knees coughing. I got back up and ran after my moms car to tell her theres a fire. My mom yelled "Gerald is in there!" I tried running in the house but the smoke was too much, my mom yelled at me to call 911. but i ran to my neighbours and asked to call 911. in the mean time my mom ran into the house blinded by the smoke to find gerald. it wasnt even 10 seconds before she couldnt take anymore. i ran around the house to see through the window but a neighbour of mine broke the window. we all yelled for gerald. no response. at this time i heard the sirens, but i knew it was too late. i walked up the street, ambulances, firetrucksd and cops driving pass me. I never cried that hard in my life.

Again, thanks for taking the time to read behind my eyes and thanks for supporting us in this hard time.
Thanks to my friends that supplied with me clothes, bought me food and accompanied me. it means alot to me and my mother. but for now im going to finally try and sleep.
