I just transferred here for my job and was wondering if their was anything to do in this town as far as events, entertainment, and night life? I have read some of the posts on here there is a lot of negativity, isn't there anything positive to do in this down? Why all the bashing?

Mainly all the negativity is from the lower income, no life, no job residents of THIS TOWN.Sorry you ate getting a bad taste of this on this site.
No nothing to do in this town. You should of moved to Indi or Columbus and then drove here for work.

I think a lot of the negativity comes from people having nothing better to do. As far as a night life, there really isn't much to do around here.

The bars in town are mostly okay but boring if you do not know anybody there. About the best advice I can give is to ask around where you work to find out what your coworkers will be doing over the weekends. There are some events occasionally in surrounding areas but they are not well advertised.

Greensburg really isn't that bad of a place its just filled with people who hate other people. As far as bars yes they are lame but Batesville isn't that far and at least one of their bars is worth going to. Randys Roadhouse

Oh my gosh stay away from Batesville bars.....full of Hillrom employees getting drunk and complaining about their kind and how much they hate them and then they are screwing around on each others spouses! Really nasty people, some leave their kids at sitters and go get drunk. I have to listen to the complaining at work everyday. Alcoholics and pathetic loosers!

Yes I did, Walmart seems like the place where Greensburg people shop in their pajamas pants and many shop there with no bras on! A lot of the people who work there are rude! I go to Mainstreet Market where you at least get good service. Yet still I see pajama pants people and no bra people there too.

Who cares if people show I'm pajamas and no bras they are comfortable. If you don't like it that's on you. But until they outlaw pajamas and no bras you can bet your ass ill be out dressed that way
