How many deaths will prompt the closing of this place? And what kind of business was this victim doing there anyway? I heard the victim had a major drug problem--so is the motel a front for drug business too?

To Mr. Mcguire: Just because you "heard" the victim had a major drug problem doesn't make it so; and even if he did, it certainly doesn't justify this heinous murder...did you think about his Mother when you posted this comment? have you ever suffered any type of addiction? Recovery is a LONG, HARD ROAD, AND SOME DON'T MAKE IT BACK! My prayers to Bryon's Mother, family & friends. He will be missed by many.

Mr McGuire-
Bryon was my ex brother in law who was still like my big brother and part of my family. No problem he may have had will ever justify the fact that he was MURDERED. It's your closed minded way of thinking that makes this world a cruel place to live. Bryon happened to be a great friend to me and to my family. In fact, he saved my mother's life. He was the first to volunteer if anyone ever needed help. He was funny, witty and had a heart of gold. He was loved by many and will be missed by many. With your attitude-I doubt you will though.

Mr. McGuire-
I am Bryon's ex-wife and I just can not allow your comment to pass without a response from me. I've known Bryon nearly 20 years. Even though we divorced, he remained one of my closest friends. I can't begin to tell you the sacrifices he made for my family and for his friends. If there is any thing to be learned from his life, it is the meaning of friendship and what it means to love people. For example, he would never have been so insensitive as to make a comment like yours. He knew life could be difficult and he never passed judgement on others. He knew that unless you had walked in their shoes, you had no right to say a word. He would, however, offer to help or lend a shoulder to cry on or simply just listen. To satisfy your morbid curiosity, Bryon wasn't at the motel "to do business". He had gone to help someone in need. It was an issue of doing something good in a bad place at the wrong time. The kindness of his heart is what got him killed. The really ironic part is that if YOU had been the one to ask for help, he probably would have taken a bullet for you as well. I hope you are blessed enough to have someone like him in your life - and if so that you will truly come to appreciate them. People like Bryon are rare and to know them is an honor. My prayer is that something good will come from his death. Perhaps friends and families will come to understand how precious relationships are and that none should be taken for granted. Mr. Mcguire, if you have children &/or a significant other, go tell them you love them. Give them a hug! Tomorrow may not give you the opportunity!

Boy- there sure are som IGNORENT people. Get a life!! All these hateful things written. I feel sorry for these people. It's a shame for one to have so much hate. I was seperated from Bryon but we were best friends. I don't apperciate the negative comments. Respect the dead!!!!! When my children get older I hope they dont see this crap written about their daddy. "I" am the one who is talking to the detectives and getting the facts- not you creeps. Just b/c the name has a bad name does not make all the ppl there bad. Bryon always went out of his way to help ppl and 11-3-09 was one of those times. He went to go pick someone up who needed a ride and called him. It always made him feel good to help ppl. His medical records showed NO alchol or drug use. Have u ever heard if u cant say something nice then dont say nething at all!!! To those who wrote such nice things about Bryon- I cant Thank You enough. This is VERY diffiuclt, espcially for our children. To the others to go hell!!!! Going by your hatefullness Im guessing you're already on your way there.

And my heart is hurting for these other families!!

RIP Sweetie.. Love~ Your Wife
