To answer your question "oh yea". Didn't I hear that guilford county as well as other surrounding counties want to raise sales tax by 1/4 of a cent? There you go that's the answer. In a time of high unemployment rates, the government is gonna gouge those of us that are still employed.

Why can't people get rid of their own bugs? The thought would never occur to me to ask someone else to take care of a pest problem that I may have. Have things really gotten this bad? People just sit there and get eaten up until somebody else comes along and cleans their house up for them? How lazy have people gotten?

To answer your questions, certain people like to place blame on others and make the others clean their messes (bitting the hand that feeds comes to mind). Yes, it has gotten this bad, yes they want others to clean for them, and they've gotten pretty lazy.

Actually the only 100% way to rid your home of Bed Bugs is through a high powered heat treatment. Long story short, a pest control service brings in massive heaters that will heat the home to somewhere between 200 and 300 degrees for several hours. Anyone can have Bed Bugs and it has nothing to do with ones housekeeping. As someone that works in the Property Management industry, I have dealt with the issue at an apartment community. It's sickening to see so many hate filled comments on this board where people are judging and assuming that Bed Bugs only affect the poor or people with poor housekeeping. The #1 way for Bed Bugs to become a problem in your home is from traveling oversees or taking a cruise. Correct me if I am wrong, but most low income individuals can't afford to take a cruise or travel internationally. You all need to do some research before you jump on a forum and start judging something or someone that you have absolutely no clue about.

lower class - don't necessarily work and have little to show other than possibly criminal records // working class - everyone you depend on in an emergency along with teachers and those you hire to do work for you (ie most of us)// middle class - people making six-figures and more, but have "regular" jobs and are employed // upper class - elite, wealthy, don't necessarily have a "job" but possibly have family money or over paid careers (sports figures, celebrities)

You're incorrect...a bed bug infestation has nothing to do with the cleanliness or filth in ones home. As I said in my previous post, I work in the property management industry and have dealt with this issue on 2 separate occasions at 2 separate apartment communities. Both apartments with the issues were 2 of the cleanest apartments that I had ever seen...not a trace of dirt, dust, clutter, etc. Get your facts straight before you start judging!

I work in a industry that deals with these types of infestations. So you need to get your facts straight. Oh and btw no one is judging anything just speaking my mind.

Not trying to be mean but I just found this on Web MD

"Bite Back Against Bedbugs

Get rid of infested mattresses and box springs or cover them with a plastic mattress bag to trap the bugs. Wash clothes and bedding in hot water, and dry on high heat. Clean furniture and vacuum cracks in wood floors and doors where bugs may hide. Shake out suitcases. Use an insecticide in the cracks of floors or bed frames, but read the label; do not apply to areas that come in direct contact with skin. If you still can't get rid of them, call an exterminator."

Obviously cleanliness has something to do with them. It appears to have everything to do with getting rid of them.
