I'm g/a/y, guy, you remember, the Marquis Marriott, New Year's Eve 2006, while your wife was doing the kitchen staff?

Come on, you're sounding like you really may be toothless.

Back to night school for that G.E.D.

<quoted text>Gee, here's an idea: Maybe the landscaping contractor who is using American workers (remember when high school and college kids did these jobs) and paying taxes will get a fair shot at the job because they won't be underpriced by the guy paying no taxes by hiring illegals from the 7-11 parking lot or some PC hiring hall.
Hey Jane, our kids today don't want these jobs. Our kids could not be bothered doing anything like this. Once in a while you will find one that does but the good majority would not cut a lawn (other than their parents lawn) or pick strawberries or deliver a newspaper. Our kids are too spoiled and busy with ipods, computers and the latest gadgets. Are you from NB?

NB for North Bellmore or NB for NOrth Babylon?

no to both.

and i'm not convinced that high school and college kids wouldn't want part time jobs outside instead of in a depressing mall working retail. unless they're spoiled couch potatoes. the difference is they are taxed on these low wage jobs while illegals are not.

Referring to North Babylon. LOL! Because you put Jane from Babylon, thought I knew you.
Anyway, in the current economy - you might be right about some of the kids wanting these jobs, however, I don't see a lot them doing these jobs (the kids). Then again, I am not in the north, I am in the south and it is different here.

I have been in that area many times over the last couple of years and all the violence has been attributed to the illegal aliens hanging about on the streets along Depot Rd. and New York Ave. There is a large concentration in that area and it is not being addressed either by the town or the Federal Government. The citizens in the area are begging for relief from this situation and they are being ignored. Added to the problem, the local Churches and non-profits are encouraging the phenomena by feeding these folks and keeping them concentrated in that one area as are the illegal alien advocates by screaming "racism" when anyone seeks to deal with the situation. They intimidate the politicians to take a "do-nothing" stance on this problem and the citizens are being preyed upon because they are not the upper-class that lives more in the Huntington Village area. They ignore the whole thing because it does not touch them. If the problem was along Main Street, you would see how fast it would get addressed.
On churches and nonprofits-- would you rather people starve?

Reality check to everyone...Huntington Station is not he only neighborhood in NY that has been destroyed by the invasion of all the illegal immigrants. Queens County and Nassau County have also been invaded. Its disgusting; they multiply and travel like bed bugs and live like roaches. Real Estate agents feed off them because they care about money...not quality of life. Real New Yorkers are being forced out of their neighborhoods, schools are overpopulated, seems that their purpose in life is having children who are supported with our tax dollars, in addition to all the criminals, gang members, etc. You can no longer enjoy going to a park with your children because they take over the park playing soccer, drunk sleeping on park benches, or making out in public :/ have no respect for the law, they urinate in public, drive drunk, fight in the street like rats, infest any area they move into, have no respect for police or anyone for that matter. I cant believe their behavior is being tolerated and no one is doing anything about it. Obama just talks crap about healthcare...HEALTHCARE YEAH for illegal immigrants to continue popping babies left and right every year while we kill ourselves working to pay taxes for these rats to sit at home pregnant watching soap operas. Its just going to get worst....
