who keeps voting for Gov. Daniels. It is clear that he do not have are next generation best interest at heart. All he cares about is building oversized football stadiums and basketball arenas. He fought like hell for that, but educating our kids is not a important enough. Wonder why peopl do not want to go to school for education!!!!!!!!!! They jobs are just not important enough to our government!!!!!!!!!!

Who cares if he shuts it down. I sure don't and I am tired for overpaying for other peoples kids education. Why should education be free?

Do you have any idea what this place does? Education should be free. Read up on the real history of this place. So our Veterans children aren't worth it to get the help and individualized attention to help them succeed in life? They also help other family members of Veterans. Ignorance

What a sad day for those kids. Now they are being placed back in the care of their parents. Shame on Daniels, and shame on the people that keep voting him back into office. The man only cares about things that bring money into the state. Those kids were placed there for a reason. They themself had issues, or their parents did.

I belong to the American Legion Womens Aux, and we sponsored 2 kids from Knightstown. One of them graduated this weekend, and plans on enlisting in the service. She would not have made that choice if she was at home with her parents. Now, it is hard telling what will happen since they will not have the same kind of attention or care that the home provided. Those kids did not ask to be brought into this world with bad parents, so why should they have to suffer?

Those are the most behaved kids I have ever seen. We hosted their annual X'mas party this year, and one kid said all they wanted for Christmas was to have the bus stop by the cemetary so they could visit their parent. The rude comments that were made by other people just show their ignorance.

I grew up with people that were sent to the ISSCH it seemed to help them, therefore, I really hate to see it close. Actually,my own daughter was sent there and it helped her with her hyper-activity. I am a 14 year veteran of the military,6yrs, in the Air Force & 8yrs in the Army so I am a firm supporter of this school.

I think that they are wrong for closing the school my stepson has come along way in just a short time there and has only one year left before he graduates from highschool and before going there he was a straight F student and now he is a straight A student who is on his way to
college when he graduates. People just don't get
what this has done for so many kids all around
They had an opportunity that most wouldn't have but different ones saw potential in my son at that school and have helped made him who is today and this school wasn't closed during the depression so why closed it now and put something else in its placed don't the kids have right and the staff who made it what it is today.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Aquarius

This is another day when financial matters cause trouble, as Mars reverses in your seventh house. What started off as a minor niggle with a partner or an opponent yesterday could now escalate into a full-blown row, but at least this will give you the chance to get certain things out into the open. Legal issues from the past may become ugly. If you're pointing the finger of blame at someone, don't get so heated that you accuse them of everything under the sun.
