Accidents can happen at any time of day or night. Shame on you for insinuating that this wouldnt have happened had the parents made their child be home at an earlier hour. My heart and prayers go out to his family

He was probably comming home from a friends house after the calling of another kid that everyone at our skewl liked. our soccer team went to someone's house afterward to talk about todd, my bet is that he was driving home after the gathering.

Yesterday hundreds gathered for the visitation of Todd Lewis. Ben was among them. Today we had Todd's service in the auditorium while others gather in the gym to grieve for Ben.

Rather than snipe perhaps you should thank God you're not in our shoes.

As the mother of 3 sons and a daughter my heart grieves for the families and friends of these 2 young men.
Dear God, don't let me bury my children.
Accidents happen at any time of the day or night. The issue is teenage drivers have less experience with bad road conditions and weather. Our school has had multiple student accidents in the last several weeks. We are blessed that none have died, although there have been serious, life-changing injuries. This could have happened day or night.

I am so sorry to hear about the lost. That was sad to see a son die. But being 17 he should not have been out so late. But you will be in my thoughts and in my prayers.

My son played soccer with Ben and he told me what a great guy he was. It is so devastating to hear about something like this. I have two boys at GCHS and I can only imagine what these parents are going through. Our hearts go out to you. He will be missed.
