Of course.
I will bitch about it right now. They are not from Greeneville, their parents moved here after they all left high school. They love that "little home town in appalachia" for their recording promos. Just like 30 something losers, they use their parents address while they are being lead around the country ny their promoters. Any sucesss they have had came from their upbringing in Mobile, Alabama.

They didn't become successful till they moved here. If they had stayed in Alabama, they'd probably still be practicing in the basement.

They moved here about 9 or 10 years ago at ages 19, 14, and 12 I think. They apparently finish high school early in Alabama if they had all finished before they moved to Greeneville. The band was formed in 2005 after they moved to Greeneville , although the girl had fronted for other bands previously.

Their father, Dr. Steve Perry and his family moved here in 2002 when the kids were 18, 13, and 10. They have been home schooled while living here and performing on the road. I would say it would be hard to be in a traveling band while attending South Greene or Chuckey Doak.

Should they use Alabama or Mississippi as a home address, since they haven't lived there in 11 years and left as children? This is their family's home, and the nearest thing they have to a home, or should they give "tour bus" as their home address?

I have never understood why people have to be jealous of someone, instead of being proud of their success.

Those kids are proud of being from Greeneville just as most people who live here are. Yes, the two younger ones were home schooled but they certainly participated in local events too. They often came to the Greeneville Greene County Library where they used reference books to help with their homework. They also went on field trips like local school children do getting familiar with places like the Nathaniel Greene Museum, Old Towne Jail, Replica of the Capital of the State of Franklin. the Dixon William's Mansion and President Andrew Johnsons Home and Tailor Shop. All of us should be proud of Greeneville and what we have in our town. Other people in adjoining towns would give anything if they had as much history in their town as we do. I'm glad they count Greeneville their home and I will continue to support them as I do all young musicians in the area.

I was just wondering if anyone heard a "ballpark" figure on how many people attended the show tonight. I am sure that they held an awesome show. I know people from Greeneville are really proud of this band. I think it's great they got their big break and have won awards with their music. I'm really looking forward to my copy of "PIONEER" I think its finally out in April!(I tried to buy it in December, it was when the "DIG TWO" single hit the radio stations.) It's good to "come home". I figured the song "Downtown" on the new album had something to do with wanting "downtown" roped off. Hope everyone had a good time. I'm glad the weather pretty much held out. <3 Love the Band Perry

I am so proud of those young adults, and personally I would rather tell everyone I was from Greene County than Alabama or Mississippi. Home is where the heart is, they have done alot for our community and NO ONE made them do all the nice generous things they have done. I dont undersrand why they did not have the concert at the fair grounds or Astro Park. I want to personally thank The Band Perry for being proud of our community and their awesome, amazing music. Good luck and may God bless you all and keep you all safe.

I'm very proud they claim Greeneville as their home. They seem to be very fine kids.

And who gives a "f" where they came from.. where they went to school, etc. The level of scrutiny over this b.s. is unbelievable.
