“Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.”

--Thomas Paine, The American Crisis

When a Law is Passed (by Republican or Democrat ...local level, state level or federal level) then a Behavior or Choice is Restricted. A Restriction on Behavior or Choice is a Limitation. A Limitation on Behavior or Choice is Not “Freedom” and Not “Liberty.”

God gave Ten Commandments (Ten Laws)…………...(costs to enforce 5000 year $USD:$0.00).

Jesus Christ made One Golden Rule (One Law)……....(costs to enforce 2000 years+$USD:$0.00).

The United States Constitution is a (One Page Law)….(cost to enforce in 1789 $USD:$0.00).

Ten Laws were good enough for God. One Law was good enough for Jesus Christ. One Page Law was good enough for George Washington, Ben Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson.

NO ONE in the U.S. Government (Barack Obama, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, etc.) is God, Jesus Christ, George Washington, Ben Franklin, or Thomas Jefferson.

Ten Laws that were good enough for God are not good enough for (Barack Obama, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, etc.).

One Law that was good enough for Jesus Christ is not good enough for (Barack Obama, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, etc.).

One Page Law was good enough for George Washington, Ben Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson is not good enough for (Barack Obama, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, etc.).

How many BOOKS OF LAWS do we need to allow Barack Obama, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, etc. to pass and how many trillions in dollars do we need to allow Barack Obama, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, etc. to blow before we make them realize they are NOT God, Jesus Christ, George Washington, Ben Franklin, or Thomas Jefferson?

Quoting Paine to advocate evangelical over secular is like asking Jack the Ripper for a surgical consulation.

I just read the post you're replying to TWICE and it covers BOTH topics. I interpret the post as " be active in politics and vote for change" The next pack of $5 cigs you buy, the next $4 gallon of gas you pump, the next ounce of taxed Jäger you shoot? Remember this post cuz if U don't vote, the next thing you'll pay tax on.... Is AIR. So, whether religious or not? It still has a message for YOU. It sure made me think. Starting fights in the yard for a lil Kim poster? If not, it sure looks that way.

A little injection of reality .......... God and Jesus are the same. So, He changed his mind because times and humanity had changed. Perhaps, the first set of laws wasn't working as well any longer? The Founding Fathers wrote the U. S. Constitution as a "living article" that incorporated the future (and then present) use of amendments. This allowed the "one page law" to change with the times. You see, they knew times would be MUCH different in the future requiring the government to change, as well. Don't get me wrong - I am a big advocate of the Ten Commandments. If more people followed them, then this world that we all live in would be a much better place.

Clearly, you do not understand the Holy Trinity.
