I wasn't aware of my capability of holding out for the long haul, either, until I decided I wanted to be single for awhile, was super busy continually with my job at the time, and kept myself busy with hobbies and/or friends in the very little spare time I had, and before I knew it, 2 yrs. had gone by!!!
Is that why the stores are always out of batteries in Asheville? Wink wink

I'm fairly certain the man Nita described would also require batteries, so they may become scare in G'ville, as well...lmao!!!

LOL...okay it was a hypothetical & I wasn't aiming for Anna Nicole Smith status with some 80+ yr old man...I was thinking more along the lines of late 40s :) Regardless, though, given that I am in my late 30s and, despite having had several long term relationships, haven't chosen to get married, clearly my life path doesn't include finding a man to take care of me...
Too bad. That's just my game!

No. I'm 49. Marriage is open. It doesn't mean a helluva lot, or I'd still be. Yeah, I like taking care of my lady. We can reproduce if you want. I make plenty of money. Leave the work to me and take care of the house.

Deal!!! However, I need to warn you that I'm pretty crafty, so though I'm sure you mean "keep the house clean," I'm likely to get a wild hair & renovate the whole damn thing...lol!!!

It would be ok if it was just the AA or AAA batteries but all the D, 6 volt, and some car batteries are gone. What kind of jack hammers are you ladies using?

It's not about age. It's about chemistry, compatibility, goals, interests and maturity. If you meet someone to whom you are instantly attracted and who is perfect for you in every way and then you found out he/she is 10 years older/younger, is it an automatic deal breaker? Why would anyone allow an ambiguous number limit their life experiences?

well i'm a 28 year old woman and my husband is 22.. when we got together i was 26 and he was 20.. so we are 6 years apart.. i don't see what the problem is or would be about that.. i don't party, my husband doesn't like the bar and clubs either, so we work, pay our bills, and act like a normal family with our son we have together.. age doesn't even weigh in on our relationship.. when we met, we didn't know how old one another were, but we still hit it off just like any other couple would.. i mean we are just 6 years apart.. we still went to school with the same people and know alot of the same people before we met.. i don't really think age matter's.. and like myopinioncounts2 said, it's ok for an older man like in their 50's or so date a woman in their early 20's, but it's weird for a woman to be just 6 years older than her man?? at least they are for the majority of it both in their 20's.. lol, i think this thread is totally ridiculous..
I'm currently dating a 22 year old I'm 28. Everything is.great between us except peoples opinion about or age difference had began to weight on us. I have two children he had nonewhich is a plus for me. He lives me and my kids and have marriage plans :). He doesn't drink or like the clubs and we are in Vegas!. Reading this gives me.hope <3

My girlfriend is 9 months younger than me. Age really don't factor unless you do like some girls and marry a man old enough to be your dad. That's just sick
