Is this post about older girls dating younger guys or is it about this specific couple? If its about the couple why not start a thread about them and leave this one to discuss what its titled?

Look its like this I was 21and met my lovely wife over 30 years ago. She was 32 when we met had 3 wonderful kids I had a ready made family do the math on the age difference married her and still very much in love with her after 30 years remember age is just a number its all in how you feel about each other not how others feel about you don't worry about what other do in there Romance unless your jealous.that's my 2 cents this os from a grandpa of 6 now and im stop young enough to romp and.run with them life is god so don't judge

Well u said that she is 34 and he is 28...sounds like both are old enough to make their own decisions..and not necessarily partying and using each other for sex. Maybe they are both realy cool people who appreciate each other and treat each other kindly. It's not like either of them are teenagers, they are not that different in age.

If it's up 5 years, that's practically the same generation, so it's almost like no age difference. Provided they are both of the age of consent. When it gets into around a 10 year gap, it's different generations. If people feel like they have to work too hard and sacrifice a lot to keep it up and going, it's not worth it. If it's all you want in life and the other person completes you in every way, then it's worth a shot. When the gap is into 20-s and up, and the older partners are like parents and grandparents - I personally wouldn't know how that works. I think it can be great and it can be a mental torture.

You said it perfectly! What's wrong with a Cougar? No one thinks twice when the guy is older! If they are happy, let them be! And why should a woman have to date an old man when some young thing is probably dating the guy her age? Thank you for your defense!!!
I AGREE! Im 39 dating a 24 year old and we're great together :)

I am 22 and my boyfriend is 19. Sometimes people meet in different ways which brings them close together. I love him and I wouldnt trade him for a 30 year old man.

It's not LOVE their after,it's support. Child support is what they want. The older females just want sex and have babies "which we don't need" just so they can claim child support from the younger fellows. Face it,making money is all that has come important.

Your comments are stereotyping all older females which is not right! I'm early 40s and dont need a man for his money or trying to have a child to get his money! Once again, I'm being wrongfully categorized.:(

I agree with Nita...I'm late 30s, enjoy sex but can deal without it for quite awhile, rather than having meaningless sex...and I am open to having to children, but it's not an absolute requirement & I certainly wouldn't become involved in a relationship simply to have a "baby daddy." Plus (if I were the type, and I'm not...), if I wanted to find a guy to have babies with just to get money for child support, I would most likely go for an older guy who is well-established rather than a younger one...

That's probably true to women like you,the older males would die off and he11 you would not care, you would just be happy with the money coming in and living it up. I bet you and others would not even miss your better half anyways. Just think,if you married, you could even draw a check,he11 you wouldn't have to work.

LOL...okay it was a hypothetical & I wasn't aiming for Anna Nicole Smith status with some 80+ yr old man...I was thinking more along the lines of late 40s :) Regardless, though, given that I am in my late 30s and, despite having had several long term relationships, haven't chosen to get married, clearly my life path doesn't include finding a man to take care of me...

Maybe I got up too early for a workout & my brain isn't stopping me from being a "dirty girl" but I don't need a man to take care of me.....would like to just use him for sex if he's a good lover who is clean, disease and drama free. If one wants to take care if me then that's ok, I just don't NEED to be taken care of. Sorry Word Woman, but I don't do well during long stretches without it! Lol lol

Nah...your brain is good...I've seen FAR nastier comments on a regular occasion on this forum!!! And, as for going long stretches...I had actually been involved in one long-term relationship after another... after another...since high school, so I wasn't aware of my capability of holding out for the long haul, either, until I decided I wanted to be single for awhile, was super busy continually with my job at the time, and kept myself busy with hobbies and/or friends in the very little spare time I had, and before I knew it, 2 yrs. had gone by!!! Then, I dated a guy I met through a mutual friend for a year...and then took another one year sexual hiatus before "Mr. Wonderful" in your neck o' the woods...which was nearly disastrous enough to make me give serious consideration to a lifetime sexual hiatus...lmfao!!! ;)

Actually, I just went back & read your comment again & I think I may have misinterpreted what you were saying when I responded the first time... As for "women like me," I have, for the most part, been very lucky to have dated terrific men, but for various reasons (i.e. timing, long-term goals, differing opinions re: issues that would eventually come into play, etc.) marriage just hasn't been in the cards with them. I have seen far too many of my friends (and women, in general) who were in a huge rush to get married, but the focus was on the wedding & not the marriage...and many of them are single now. I just chose to sit out the first round...lol!!! Seriously, though, I am not at all opposed to marriage & truly enjoy being involved in a relationship, given that it is happy & healthy...I have to admit, though, that my Noble dog is undoubtedly the best male companion I've had in my life so far...:)
