Greene Guy.....you are one of the reasons people are afraid of crazy people having guns.
Thank goodness all the crazy people live in Chicago, Detroit and New York where that have the strongest gun laws in the country. I wonder if that has anything to do with their VERY HIGH murder rates??

Only evil criminals have guns ...... I heard one of your liberal media guys made the comment that is a woman is being raped .... dont worry about having a gun.... just pee on yourself and the rapist will leave you alone. Or the other guy making the comment that you dont need guns to stop a mass shooter ... wait till he has to reload ... and then rush him and take his gun.

Liberalism is a true mental sickness ..... It must be a genetic flaw when their brain cells were created. Oh crap ... liberals dont believe in creation..... instead of an organic, primal soup .... they must have used a pile of chicken poop !!!!

The government's current policy of printing $85 billion a month and buying our own securities with it has a lot to do with the price of oil as it devalues the dollar. Pay attention to the destructive policies of Barry Obama. Our economy is "fixed" on this crack habit, and when the fed stops, you'll see the market come crashing down cause there is no real econmic growth, just this addiction to the fed and QE3.

Nothing you can or will do about it.
True there is nothing else we can do about it but complaine. It sure does hurt us though. The only job my husband can get for his skills was in Kingsport, an hour drive for us. And no I really cant move when I have two kids in middle school. That, in my eyes, is too old to make them change schools.

Record-high corn prices should be sending a clear message to policy makers in Washington: Requiring people to put corn-based fuel in their gas tanks is a bad idea.
Since 2005, the U.S. government has mandated that gasoline contain ethanol, almost all of it derived from corn. The policy, ostensibly aimed at reducing the countryís dependence on foreign oil and at improving the environment, has been a bonanza for farmers. Land planted with corn soared by a fourth after Congress passed the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, which required that gasoline producers blend 15 billion gallons of ethanol into the nationís gasoline supply by 2015.
If true, then shut the f**k up about high gasoline prices. More oil refined into the more gasoline needed to make the whole gallon. And, now you don't want American farmers to make money. What you describe is a basic piece of Capitalism - supply and demand. Besides, when gas goes above the price that it was during Herr Bush's reign, you can legitimately complain. Of course, with oil companies making record profits during at least half of the last decade, I wonder why they can't just lower their prices a little. You know, a little less profit to give us a little less cost. Wait a minute, thats back to basic Capitalist principles. What, now you hate Capitalism? You sound like some Socialist a$$hole - the exact people that you claim Obama to be.

That may be true, buuuuuuuuutt it passed $4.00 a gallon during the latest Republican reign. And, that was in the South, not out in California. I don't get it - are you against corporations making money, providing an excellent product, employing thousands of Americans, helping drive up the stock market, and furthering the Capitalist cause? I thought that is what Republicans stand for. Maybe ......... the federal government should nationalize the industry? Or, just give out gas for free, huh?
The (illegal) war in Iraq probably has NOTHING to do with the price of gas, Republican. Just like it didn't have anything to do with the current national debt. Lol. I like watching the FOX Comedy Network (FOXNews) so I can listen to you Republicans rant and rave about the debt. Like NOW you care - good grief! And, don't forget when Bush sent out those tax refunds THAT HE BORROWED FROM CHINA.

you goof ..... 2012 broke all records with the highest energy costs in history. Gas did spike up to 4.00 but immediately dropped down to 1.80's.... Obamas gas has been in the 3 dollar region for years. Just keep drinking the Obama kool-aid and talking on your obama phone....

you goof - look @ history. Gas goes up every year. Because you NEED it. And, corporate America KNOWS this. Supply and demand. You are a working man (I assume) and you're going to pay. Checked out the price of diesel or kerosene lately? As the country became more dependant on trucking, what happened to the price of diesel? When I was a kid, diesel was MUCH cheaper than regular gas. Kerosene was almost free, it was sooooo cheap. As electricity (heating) costs have increased (because you NEED it), people relied more on kerosene for heat. Look @ that price. Are you watching the price of firewood? Its rising, as well. NOTHING in your LSD-laced vocabulary can justify Bush and the Republicans. So, keep on ranting. Its funny. Maybe, we should let a foreign country build a pipeline across our precious farmland, creating 5000 temporary construction jobs, to pump its oil down to the Gulf, so it can ship it overseas to China; while a certain political party claims that it is going to ease our energy woes and create hundreds of thousands of permanent jobs. Sound familiar? Not sure exactly how that will help us, but in an LSD haze, anything is possible. H*ll, people literally believe they have wings and can fly. Why don't the Canadians build the pipeline across THEIR country to the west coast and ship it from there? Shorter shipping route is cheaper. Prob because they don't want that crap going across THEIR land. Its funny. We are actually (proven fact) drilling MORE of our own oil now - here @ home and under Obama's administration . Why doesn't the price of gas go down? Because of greedy corporate America and the stock market. Its funny. Bush killed more Americans in Iraq than terrorists killed over here. Thats NOT funny.
