I know him and I'm not proud of the fact. He's been a pill head for years. He's also on disability of course. Honestly I don't know how he lives as well as he does. I'm not aware of any prior arrests. He's a gun nut and has usually has a pistol of some sort on him. I assumed he had a carry permit. Shane lives a quiet life. I've never seen him as intoxicated as what they described in the paper. That's about it.

they will give you a dui or driving while intoxicated for being on pills.if your messed up more than you should be.thats what they give you.he may not have been drinking.he could have been on pills.since you say he takes them.and if he draws disability.well there goes a lawsuite.unless he have insurance.you cant go after a disability check.

Saw the guy in court Wednesday morning.. he was FUBAR at 9 a.m. couldn't sit still, couldn't sit down... was reprimanded several times. DUI is more than alcohol... it includes anything that impairs you ability to drive.

Thanks for the info. I know DUI includes more than drinking. Sounds like he has a serious problem with some sort of addiction. Did he by chance make bail?

Bail was set pretty high. He was wanting a court appointed lawyer. I was wondering if it was even legal to arraign him in the condition he was in.

Yes they found that stuff but he also couldn't pass a field sobriety
test according to your local paper. I don't really care what a person does in the privacy of their home but it becomes everyone's problem when they get behind the wheel of a car.

My grandfather was the man hit by this guy. He is barely hanging on and is going to have a very very ling road to recovery. It sickens me that this individual could do this. I hope he get what he deserves, but it wont change the pain he has inflicted on our family.

I'm right there with you. I have 0 sympathy for Harrison. I hope the law works the way it should. All friends and family of your grandfather should work to make sure he does get what he deserves.

YOU SHOULD REALLY KNOW HIM BEFORE YOU PASS JUDGEMENT ON SOMEONE AND THE CIRCUMSTANCES INVOLED... BY THE WAY I AM SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE OTHER MAN IN THE WREAK, YES IT'S TRAGIC, BUT SEATBELTS REALLY DO SAVE LIVES. DO WE FORGET WHAT CHRISTIANS ARE AND HOW WE ARE SUPPOSED TO ACT? THO SHALL NOT JUDGE... IS THAT NOT A 10TH COMMANDMENT?

do i need to know someone to pass judgement or do i need to read the police report? He was intoxicated on morphine. Yes seatbelts do save lives, but would that have been in question if he werent hit by a man that was impaired? This isnt a religious matter so do not make it into one

In response to "know him", i know my grandfather has bills he cant pay and you want to say bc he wasnt wearing his seatbelt that his injuries are his fault? Not the man driving the other car while he was under the influence? I wont judge. There are courts for that, but be rest assured i will be there to speak on my grandfathers behalf to make sure he gets justice for this mans poor judgement

Who I am is irrevalent. We can leave religion out if you want. Yes your grandfather needs someone to speak for him, but so does Mr. Harrison. I admire the fact that you want to speak up for your grandfather, but hasty comments and the blame game doesn't solve any problems in the adult world. That's what courts are for. He should of had full coverage insurance to cover unpredictable bills such as car accidents and taking precausion of wearing a seatbelt.
