angela and i are both out although we do not speak and havent in the past 10 years kermit plead guilty to murder and is serving life in prison with the possibility of parole in 2060. as far as the crime goes you all have no clue. newspapers report what they think will sale, what about the fact that when this happend kermit was out on bond for attempted murder on me and the fact that he beat my ass every other breath so as far as me being crazy yes i was, to stay in a relationship with a man who abused me. at this point in my life i was a horrible addict and i married my dealer i pissed away alot of my life to feed an insatiable addiction to morphine and what happend was horrible and i think about it every day im haunted in my sleep AND WITH EYES WIDE OPEN SO FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE SO JUDGEMENTAL JUST REMEMBER THIS WHAT HAPPEND TO ME COULD HAVE HAPPEND TO ANYBODY OUT THERE. I LOST NINE YEARS OF MY LIFE MY CHILDREN EVERYTHING AND I COULDNT EVEN BE PLACED AT A CRIME SCENE EVEN BY FORENSIC EVIDENCE. I AM NOT EVIL NOR AM I VIOLENT I DID WHAT I HAD TO DO THAT DAY TO SURVIVE AND FOR ANYONE WHO DOESNT UNDERSTAND THAT MAYBE YOU SHOULD OPEN YOUR EYES AND YOUR MIND

Jama, don't waste your time arguing with these people. Its ridiculous and these people have NOTHING better to do with their time. You paid your debt to society. End of story. You have no.idea the times that I have thought of you over the years and thought exactly what you just wrote. This could have happened to anyone. A few wrongturns life that seem minor can put a person in an unthinkable situation. Im proud to see you've turned things around and are doing well. Dont let these gossipers get you down.

The one on viking mtn, I believe your talking about, if I'm not mistaken was Joani Foulkes, and the man they believe that did it was having an affair with her. She rented the house from him. He was charged and Bill Bell was his lawyer. He was acquitted.
I believe he did it, but BIll BEll is one heck of a lawyer. Not kidding, If I'm ever charged with murder, I'm hiring him!!!
I wish I could remember the mans name that was charged....
it is possible that there were two of them but the joni foulks i know is still very much alive

There was a Foulks lady who was murdered by her husband. I THINK his name was Donnie Wayne Foulks. Her young child was in the bed/room with her when this terrible tragedy happened! I believe it was a gunshot to the face. HORRIFIC crime. To my understanding, the child was left with his mother as she laid dying or was otherwise dead! The father was charged and convicted. I cannot imagine the circumstances of this poor little boy's life getting off to such a horrible, horrible start! I think the little boy was about three at the time. I have thought of this child so many times and hope that he is on a good path in life now!

Joni STOKES on the otherhand also died of a gunshot blast to the head. Ray Moore was charged with her death; however, he was FOUND NOT GUILTY BY A JURY IN GREENE COUNTY.. SOMETIME AROUND EARLY 1999! Bill Bell was lead counsel for Mr. Moore and did an excellent job. He was assisted by Louis Ricker. Seems like Bell alleged that a Vietnam vet with whom Ms. Stokes "befriended" was the actual killer; however, I am not aware of anyone else ever being brought to trial. That case was also quite sad.

I truly feel for the victims and their families in these cases!!!

You made remark of the attorney Bill Bell. I just wanted to make aware that there is a Bill Bell of Atlanta who has never lost a case. Found the following link for WILLIAM HALL BELL of Greeneville who could be confused as same person

Thanks for confirming the info; however, it does not really apply here. The Bell who won Ray Moore's case was local attorney William Hall Bell. I doubt the other guy has ever graced us with his presence. This town isn't big enough for two Wm. Bells! Heheheee
