You can't beat Knoxville Comprehensive Breast Center. Surgery, oncology all in one place. I did take my radiation with dr Boys-going to K'ville every day for 6 wks would have been exhausting. Pray for your recovery. go where you feel confortable.

Dr. Sen is a wonderful doctor. My husband had colon/rectal cancer and him dr. Boys, and Dr.
Patterson was his Drs. He is now in remission.
2 years. It was a rough time, but close to home and easy for me to get him to all his treatments. I pray everything goes well for you also. Choose a dr. you can feel comfortable with and if you choose Dr. Sen. I know he will do all he can, to get you through it.

The oncology team in Greeneville is as good as one can find and all choose to live in Greeneville to offer comprehensive oncology care to our citizens. I know they get job offers all the time elsewhere due to their reputations and they will be the first to send you to the big centers if needed. I know the team is fully accredited by the american college of surgeons with a commendation and these are not given away but earned. I know from experience that DR Boys has the best equipment and people one can find so if you choose to leave town for your cancer care you are wasting your time and gasoline. They took care of me and the docs at MD Anderson concerred with that. They are always available but the most important issue is I was treated at home.. Great Job Cancer Team!!!

Apparently Greeneville is a great place to live if you have cancer. I always knew it was a great place to live if you want to get cancer.

You are absolutely correct. If you do not smoke yourself there is plenty of second hand and third hand tobacco smoke to go around. Big difference between selling baccer and using baccer

Dr. Sen is not the one who is all about money. It's his wife. Dr. Sen is truly out to help his patients. His wife is out to help her pocketbook. I worked for them for several years and saw it firsthand. I've listened to the stories that his wife has told about growing up very poor in West Virginia; it amazes me how people forget how they were raised when they get a little bit of money.

My brother had osteosarcoma at 18 we asked him how long he would live because it had spread to his lungs and brain in a matter of two months, Dr. Sen said he would live the rest of his life. He did a house call the last night he was alive. Dr. Sen is absolutely amazing he gave us comfort during a time where there wasn't any. He truly cares about his patients he also came to the funeral home when he passed.

I am a former employee of Dr Sen and I will tell you right now...He is ALL for the patient. I have been beside him when he has called his former colleague in another state and ask them their opinion on a certain cancer and chemo treatment, and even more impressive..he dialed the number by memory. You won't EVER call his office and be told he is out on the golf course. I have stood by his side when he called radiology himself and ordered scans/xrays...He does this on his own..because his patients are his life. The local ER's have his home and cell numbers and are instructed to CALL HIM if one of his patients come in for treatment. You tell me who else does this. This man has a brilliant mind and a genuine love for his field and patients...Period. However, last account I had his office management could use some re-freshing.

I have also worked with Dr. Patel and he is just as great!
