Pretty much just the hideaway, since they shut the state line down already. I've been into other bars, and just the reputation and the patrons of the hideaway, is too much. All the time trouble at this spot.
If you had some kind of facts that there are illegal activities, more DUIís or more injuries coming from the Hideaway than other bars, your point of view could be taken more seriously. I hear it all and I donít hear anymore coming from the Hideaway than I do from the Handlebar, Shooters and etc.
Granted, I havenít heard about anyone throwing a Molotov cocktail at any of these other similar establishments. From what Iíve heard, the perp (who threw the bomb) was upset because heíd been barred/thrown out for causing trouble. I hate to tell everyone but that could happen anywhere. Itís not hard to encounter mentally disturbed or drugged out people in this town. You donít have to be in a bar to find those types these days. Itís unfortunate but true. The times we live in I guess.

Mmm, when you post facts about whatís going on at the Hideaway thatís different from the other bars of the same caliber in this town, people will take you seriously. Until then, itís going to appear you have personal problem with the Hideawayís owner or some of its patrons.

I mean you look at this incident with the molotov cocktail, then last year I think someone got shot outside of the hideaway, not to mention all of the fights I've heard of. Just seems this place is more bad than good. That's all, I'm getting at.

I've noticed the topics at hand are rarely ever what is actually being discussed on here. That's why I don't bother with it much anymore. As for MMM, I wouldn't waste too much time worrying about what he/she says. Haven't noticed mmm or any of these other hypocrites taking up the cause to close other bars where something bad has happened lately. Example: a person being shot inside a local establishment. Donny has just been in business for a long time and his name is well known. Therefore, he makes an easy target for the hypocrites and busy bodies to gripe about.

Prohibition? No, limit the places where inbreds go drink and fight yes.
I've never understood why cops don't park down the road from this place and just catch people as they pull out. They don't go there for anything more than to drink.
Law enforcement officers are some what limited by the law. As a result of entrapment, they can't just sit parked down the street from a bar, watch a drunk get in and drive away. First they would be held liable, because they let an obviously impaired person get behind the wheel. 2nd they need reasonable suspicion and probable cause to make the stop. A person coming from a bar is not under suspicion of drinking. However, based on officers observations, staggering, vomiting, stumbling or swaying, this would allow an officer to investigate further. As it is related to stopping a car, any vehicle malfunction, from no license plate light illuminating the license plate of a crack obstructing the drivers view would give a proactive officer grounds to conduct a stop.

i know Donnie and he has had so many people do him wrong but yet he is one of the nicest people i have met. The hideaway is a good place to go and donnie will do anything to help you if he is in a position to. I am also really good friends with the boy who threw the cocktail and he knows what he did was wrong but at the time he was not himself

I know him real well. Kid had no parents growing up, parents fought, adultery drugs and alcohol. But in whatever condition he was in there is no excuse. Stupidity, if he wasn't himself he shouldn't have taken or smoked or drank or combined the above to get where he was. He'll do his time hopefully come out with a clue, find better friends and set goals for to better himself and his lifestyle. Start with finding GOD.

His name is Keison Hux. Go to drug dealer in Greeneville forum and you can see his posts. Unlike some of posts aboves statements about him ....Keison is a habitual liar, and 'forgets' what he does a lot! He knew what he was doing. He has pulled that card a lot!

FYI, volfans the police do have a presence in all the establishments that serve alcohol. More of a presence than you can possibly know. Further, I know of no bar owner that will knowingly let a drunk person get out the door. Ever hear of vehicular homicide? That's the risk of letting a drunk leave. The liability of that is too high and no bar owner or server wants that. There are people who can fool you about their intoxication levels but that is part of it. To completely put an end to drunk driving you would have to bring back prohibition as I was pointing out in the previous post.
