I had the pleasure of meeting Robert's sister yesterday at his funeral. She reminded me so much of Robert! Really kicking myself that we didn't exchange numbers! I know that we both need someone to help get through this! She was a sweet lady and I am sorry for the families loss! If you read this Tonya, please find me on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/emily.greenier7

Thanks for your comments, they mean a lot to a whole bunch of us, family and friends, people who have known Robert for a long, long time.
This is typical, standard behavior for this bunch who attended Robert's funeral. They did the same thing with my dad, Ronald Jack Blanchard, Tonya's, Robert's, Christopher's and Nichola's granddad (a retired Army soldier, buried at Andrew Jackson National Cemetary). They never notified me of my fathers death, services, nothing. I had my buds in the Army trace it all down for me.
Robert had a grandmother (Sandra) out in California and an aunt (Caroline) and he had six cousins, to name just a few of his entire familiy, a long list of real bood relatives, none of whom include the majority of those people who were at the funeral.
It's all good. I believe in Karma. At least Tonya was there for her brother, and I'm happy for that. The rest of us, Robert's real blood family, we were there in heart, soul and spirit, and we will pay our respects once that bunch goes back to doing what they do best. We will visit, just like we have been doing with my dad, on our own terms, once peace returns to the town of Greenville.
Thanks again!

that's a damn lie you were notified when your father died but you didn't have anything to do with him, just like you was notified when Robert died but didn't return calls, Robert didn't have anything to do with you either but out of respect the family did try to notify you

watching the stones being thrown is hard in such a bad situation...I knew both Zach and Robert and am sad to see such talk from family and ignorant strangers. Anyone with eyes and a day around Robert could see how much he cared for Zach, even when Zach was being difficult and wouldnt listen. was Robert perfect? no..and I cant imagine Zach doing this without others feeding him ideas. There are few examples Ive witnessed of a father giving and giving to a child that is not grown up enough yet to understand that kind of love. So if you didnt know them personally, I suggest you keep your comments to yourself
