I wish I could get my yard fixed but I can't see even trying because it would just get tore up again:-( this is not first time my yard has been damaged- mail boxes mowed down, 1/2 my flower bed in middle of yard ran over, and just total disrespect! Not all done by truck drivers I'm sure but truck driver did latest and they scare me. I have also been scared by truck drivers on road that act like they are going to run me over! I just hope maybe someone will read some of this and realize that when they destroy property, make fun of, and threaten others - it hurts!!! My yard will probably never get back like it was and it hurts and angers me that the irresponsible truck driver doesn't even care!!!
Why do I bother to try to have nice yard? Is it too much to ask that people drive responsibly and not cause damage to others property or put others lives at risk because u want to see how fast u can drive? Why are there so many hateful mean people?
Your response to the incident with the truck driver really comes across as over the top. I understand taking pride in your yard, but I seem to be missing how that equates to physical pain. I also find it interesting that you bring up how people shouldn't be mean and make fun of people, yet look how quickly you started ranting and calling someone a redneck, insulting not only the poster, but also his family.

Ok so how bout you and your pathetic ungrateful family stop using anything that truck drivers transport!!!! My daddy was a truck driver for 37 yrs and not one time did he get so much as a speeding ticket!!! You are the only scum of the earth I can think of!!! I will admit that there is a few that should never be behind the wheel of any vehicle but for you to be so ignorant to classify all truckers as the same is ridiculous!!! You probably put yourself and family in the danger and just need someone to blame it on....

Most truck drivers are great people. I do not understand how you can steriotype all drivers based on your bad experience. If you only knew the pressure that drivers are under, you would shut your pie hole!

Your life would be absolute hell if not for truck drivers!

Oh wow! What a stupid statement! You can not place all truckers in the same group. Do you get food from a store or resturant? Thank a trucker! Do you wear clothes? Thank a trucker! Is your home furnished, and have items in it for everyday use? Thank a trucker! Are you posting from a phone or computer? Thank a trucker! They make it possible for you to have everything you need to be available local. A trucker pays for the food on my table, and I find your very invalid comment offensive. Just driving in a car down the bypass is nerve racking, imagine it in a truck that can not stop on a dime. Ride in a rig for a day! If you were any kind of parent your kids wouldn't be playing in/next to the road anyway. If you had any sense you would be proactive in trying to make your road a non-inlet road to large trucks, or have a guardrail or boulders put up at the edge of your yard instead of coming on Topix to complain. Your comment only shows how judgemental you are, how invalid you are, your lack of problem solving skills, and how uneducated you are. Have a good day!

My husband drives a truck and he doesn't do drugs he is a very good driver and we don't get welfare or food stamps and pay our bills on our own you shouldn't judge because of one driver it is people like you that give them a bad name. But that's ok he knows he is a wonderful man and so do I. But I'm sorry someone messed your yard up but you shouldn't say they are all the same because they aren't

I do drive a truck, yeah some of those drivers don't need to drive a truck but you have those people in your cars that don't need to be on the road either. People don't now what it is like to try an stop 80,000 lbs when u pull out in front of you an go about 20 yards an slam your breaks on then turn signal light on to turn in to a store or on another road, its makes me think that they are the only one on the road. This town is not the only place that has non-drivin people, if everybody would get out of their one track mind (semi drivers an car drivers) it would be better on both. I just feel like makin people change places some times so they can see what it feels like to be cut off,you pull out an keep lookin in your mirror, drivin slower than the speed limit,an slow down before you go up a steep hill,an ride beside you for miles ( tires have 120 psi in them an they do explode at times) just wonder what people think. i drive a semi but when i see a semi when i am in my personnal vehicle i get out of the way, i don't like pain or damage to my vehicle so i stay away from them cause travelin across this nation i have seen things i try an block out. Neither car or semi drivers are better than one another if we all just use our heads a little, if you are late fpr work or a ball game just remember they will still be there if you wreck or worse, cause the world turns if you are living or dead your choice, I like breathing myself.

Honestly yu know nothing about truck drivers. I personally am a grandchild of two drivers in which they have never caused any accidents and a fiance of a truck driver and his is also a grandchild of two very responsible truck drivers. Obviously yu are very ignorant and dont know how to drive.. if yu would of been paying attention maybe yur family or yu would not have been in harms way. Also i have been hit by a truck driver completely totaling my car out but i do say that it was my fault because at the time(being a new driver) i didnt not know that they cant see yu if yur beside them. So as a far as all truck fdrivers being scum an on drugs yu are the most ignorant person in the entire world. As said before if it werent for truck drivers yu wouldnt have the crap yu do or dont or whatever. So dont hate on truck drivers when yu know nothing aboout them!
