As far as my son goes let me say this again he did NOT experience the horrors of withdrawal due to the low dosage I worked myself down to in my first trimester. If you think even for a moment that your going to convince me that my choice to create an amazingly beautiful life is either wrong or selfish you are sadly mistaken. Yes I chose to get pregnant while taking Suboxone but before I did I researched got professional opinions & then got 2nd opinions & based upon the information & advice that I got from more then one LICENSED PROFESSIONAL I then made my decision worked hard drastically decreased my dosage & had an amazing son who was PERFECTLY HEALTHY & needed absolutely no treatment for withdrawal...I'm working on my problem & I'm more then proud of every obstacle I've overcome so stop trying so hard to break me down because incase you haven't noticed your efforts are an EPIC FAIL!!!
First let me say that your strength & determination is admirable & you have every right to be proud of all you've overcome. I understand that Suboxone is a touchy subject because everyone has their own opinion of it due to personal experiences good or bad. The main purpose of Suboxone is not to take it long term but to start the process of recovery and eventually work your way down to nothing and it seems that for you it's working. Your always going to have people who disagree with the way you do things just because it differs from their personal opinion which is fine just keep in mind that just because someone disagrees with your method of recovery doesn't mean that your not recovering. Do wat works for. Keep up the good work & may God guide you on your road to recovery.

Thank you! Your absolutely right. I realize that my method isn't for everyone but that's ok it doesn't have to be. All that matters to me is that it works for me & I can be the mother wife & daughter that my family deserves. I can finally enjoy life again without the constant weight of my addiction on my shoulders. I understand that I can't take Suboxone forever & I don't intend to. I have an amazing support system i attend as many meetings as my schedule allows I take my medication once a day as prescribed. I know my own strength an I know I can do this. Thank you again for your kind words & for understanding.

Why didn't you get your life together and get clean before you brought a child into this tough world if you are progressing to sobriety so well?

Not that i owe you any type of explination but if you must know We chose to do so because waiting a few years unfortunately wasn't an option in our particular situation...

Clueless: I just want to say that your hilarious! Your Witt is amusing (not being sarcastic)! As far as taking sub goes I don't personally care for it but. I do know someone who takes it responsibly as prescribed and she has made a complete 180 she's changed so much (for the better) its unreal. So I say if it has done the same for you then stick with it and continue decreasing your dosage and when you get completely off of it stay off of everything. God seems to have given you a second chance & given you the strength to make Suboxone work for you so I suggest you take full advantage of it & never take that for granted. Never let anyone tell you that you havent accomplished something to be proud of because recognizing & admitting that you have a problem is a HUGE accomplishment in its self. Good luck & God bless
