Tn yes is the worst state ever our state is run by rich, greedy GOPS (idiots actually). An employer can fire your ass if you looked at them the wrong way or if you are 3 mins. Late even if you been in a wreck. I wish I could move right now but it's hard to move your farm! It's been run by rich cats and favor business that puts money in their pockets. I don' like the dumb dems either they also are liers and are greedy rich cats also. A working man has no chance in TN we should all move to a better state if there is such one?

<quoted text>I haven't seen you or heard you talk, so it would be tough to JUDGE you on either. You may be a great worker, but I can JUDGE your attitude by what you write, and a poor attitude does not translate into to a happy employee. And a unhappy employee is poisonous to the workplace environment.
You represent the bosses good here in tn that's for sure! Can you judge me right now, I was let go after I had worked for this company 30 years. The executive director never liked me she was bitch because she was destroying the company and I let her know that. She tried to fire me because of subornation but it didn't work because I was doing an excellent job. Guess what she ran this company in the ground, she finally laid me off at 61 due to her cutting out the best paying program that I was doing, plus I even took on doing the payroll. I got to see where the money was going to her frequent pay raises and not other employees or me. Most Co. here treat their employees bad, I agree there are some that are great but, it's hard to get hired at these Co. because of hardly no turnover. Since plus less jobs In TN I have seen hardly any jobs available and someone does finally hire you they take advantage if you don't click with them they will fire you so fast. Even if you are doing a great job. This has happened to me several times! It's all about luck of the job if you get a great boss or an asshole.
I have had only 1 such great boss ever! He retired and was replaced with asshole who tried later to blame me for a loss of funding of 95,000.00 which I informed the board I had given him the analysis of that particular program and he said I didn't. I luckily had a fellow manager to back me up that I gave it to him weeks ago in time for him to apply for the funding. See another lousy boss do I need to go on. Years later with another lousy boss I had no one to defend me. I was laid off and few years later she had drained them dry from 40 employees to 4 counting herself and finally the stupid Board members finally fired her and closed down the business. Way to go these smart bosses in TN!

The Bible states that you reap what you sow, don't we all agree! If u are a atheist and u believe in nothing! Karma means the same thing, u will reap what u sow. The woman wasn't wishing it to happen but she knows like I do she will be held accountable for her lies and actions whether Obama covers for her. It does seem the lying does run in this couple. You do remember Clinton big lie got him fired! I do believe Hillary has done some bad choices that has caused people to get killed.

After 20 years of active military this family settled in Chattanooga. One of the first slogans learned "it does not matter what you know but whom you know". The right to work doctrine goes back to the late 1800 and is based on an agricultural society. The US is one of the last industrial countries adhering to it. It never ceases to amaze me why people would defend something which is not good for them, could it be global ignorance? The 30 years I worked in Chattanooga I saw a populace in constant fear of loosing their job. I have been through Chattanooga for over 50 years, I saw a happy, caring populace transformed to one with a high crime rate and riddled with insecurities.

Why would an employer want to fire a good employee and why should an employer be forced to keep a poor employee? If someone shows up to work on time every day, doesn't cause problems and makes the employer a profit I doubt they would ever have to worry about being fired. It's pretty simple, doing a good job = keeping a good job.
You are very wrong. I was let go from a position I loved. And the employer could not give me a valid reason as to why. Even admitted. I came in to work everyday 1 hr. early. I never put that hr. On my time. Was never late for breaks and lunches, I had a great attitude, team player, I got alone well with every employee. I kept my work finished ahead of schedule. Maintained a clean work space. My appearance was always neat and professional. I volunteered for extra work. Helped other employees get caught up on the work. I never wasted company time "Using Social Media" I was told when let go. I was the perfect employee. But the Company wanted to try a diffrent route. And let go by phone the day before Thanksgiving 2017. Just thrown out like trash.

Move, please move! Find a state that is consumed with union thugs and go join the pack. Please!
Hey.....Bob.
Thereís a lot of unions in TN.
Protecting the rights of hard working Americans. The GOP supports right to work. The Dems fight it.
The reason you make what you make right now (if indeed you are working) is because of the diligent work and sacrifice of unions and union brothers across this great country. Itís the same reason you have access to water at work, you get breaks, there are fire escapes that are NOT chained shut, etc.
You are very welcome. If at any point you feel that you no longer wish to benefit from the successes & advances of American employment unions or you feel that another country offers you a better employment opportunity, then by all means move.
Again, you are very welcome.
