This is the first time I've seen the dc shut down. The trucks can't even get in or out.

I was told that workers are stuck there, can't get home & the water will be still rising for at least another day.

I look for something to be put in motion again for better drainage of the lick creek basin. Lick creek starts in Kingsport and runs through fall branch,it's so crooked it cannot manage the sheer volumes of watershed that it runs through. Many years ago the army core of engineers had a plan in motion to widen and straighten portions of the creek. It's untelling the amount of money this has caused Walmart.

They are all covered by water. I heard FEMA and bill brown told them to close down.

All the roads leading to dc were water covered this morning. Does anyone know if the water has receded any yet?

Tell everyone you know. Associates can begin to call the warehouse tomorrow morning about 8:00 am to find out if we are running the schedule. If yes, you would be coming in as you can get there. If not more instructions will follow.

Mainly because of daylight. You cannot see well in the dark, nor judge how much water is on the road.

Just watched WJHL and they did not say to call in or if the roads are still closed. You would think the DC would have something set up to let us know what to do.
