Go to Walmart or any other store in Greeneville and you will see two kinds of women.
One kind is dressed sharp in a dress or jeans tucked into sexy boots with nice makeup and hair styled and just looks great. They take pride in how they look and show confidence and attract everyone's eye.
The other kind is wearing pajamas with messy hair (obviously not brushed out in weeks) and no makeup and looks like some kind of white trash that crawled out of a sewer. People shudder and turn away from these eyesores. Pajamas are for the bedroom not for shopping trips in public!
What's up ladies? You say that you can't find a good man but then you walk around looking like a bag lady that lives in a cardboard box!
I take the time to look my best and really it is not that hard or time-consuming once you have a routine.
Take some pride in yourself and your appearance and you will go far, and have a happier life to boot.
i totally agree! in my opinion the only time a woman should even remotely be allowed to wear pjs in public is when they are going thru a situation like angela bassett's character in "waiting to exhale" right?

If putting on pants is too much of a struggle and painful you probably shouldn't be driving...

The first poster seems to think business attire or formal wear is required to purchase a gallon if milk. I'm a little old to wear my pajamas anywhere but I'm also am too old to care what anyone thinks about my hair clothes or makeup. I'm also old enough to know not to assume I know what someone's reasoning is for anything they do or don't do. The person above is an example of why I don't do that. And to say someone shouldn't drive because they have pain is just unrealistic.

Having a little pain and having so much pain that you can't manage to put pants on is different....

TI only shop after work or when I'm drunk, so it doesn't bother me that much. Nita Mann needs to save her undies for my bedroom. Where she can wear them in style...briefly.
OMG.. you are cracking me up. lol

I just figured out that one should NOT go to Wal-mart in PJS or anything else in mid-afternoon on a Saturday unless you are drunk or high... I was so muttering under my breath the whole time and it had nothing to do with someone's attire.. lol Stupid, stupid people...

I personally do not like to see the drag queen looking like a cheap hooker prancing around wal-mart, which I have seen several times, but hey, he/she is not wearing pajamas so does that make it any better to you pajamas haters? My point is that it's a public place, where everyone is free to dress as they want. If you don't like it, don't look at it or don't go there. It is not my place or yours to judge or condemn someone for the way they dress in public.

Oh and no I don't wear my pajamas in public, but that's my choice. The stranger that passes by me may not like my outfit, but they didn't buy it and they don't have to wear it so it really does not matter. Just because one person likes/dislikes something doesn't make it right or wrong.

You are exactly right. It is the individuals choice whether to degrade themselves in public or not. Happy shopping!

Oh no! I just did it. I just went to the Dollar General in my pj's this morning. I couldn't help myself, I only needed a few things and wanted to hurry back home... I didn't want to waste my time changing clothes.:( I do however have a wedding to attend so I had to shower and change and put on my fake face (make up) so maybe I can make up for this mornings incident... Normally, I wouldn't be caught dead in my pj's... Luckily, I didn't see anyone I knew... Besides the employees, but they've seen me in my Zumba workout clothes (much more revealing) so I don't think they thought badly of me. Lol
