Some of my friends have broke up and got divorces over stuff started on the internet. They sneak around on them single sites because they're bored or need attention then they get caught and face the real consequences.

Good friend of mine drives long haul out for two weeks at a time and his old lady was screwing around on the internet while he was gone. He kicked her butt to the curb and now he has one twice as bad.

I was bored at Lowe's once. Went to the window section, found a good sized oval window and waited on someone to look through the other side. I screamed, "Oh, my god! I'm hideous!!" and I had to leave...

Yes, especially for those who seek and crave attention they don't normally get in life. They can be all the things they wish they were (attractive, intelligent, funny, etc.) in 'real' life and create that person (or persons) in writing so no one else can see who or what they truly are.
