there is not a lot of downtime with a toddler. my daughter is 3 and she keeps me busy. I like to read and scrapbook and sleep during the little bit of free time I have though. I will probably get bored when she starts school though and go back to work part time.
That is what my step-mother ended up doing. Funny enough, she went to college to become an elementary school teacher and didn't use her education for a good 10 yrs. At that point she went to teach at her kids school. As for the 3yr old comment, my son turns 3 in August, I understand being busy with the little ones completely.:)

My dream job would be the one Jack Nicholson had in "The Shining"...being a writer and getting paid to live in a beautiful hotel with all of the amenities & free reign...without all of the creepy ghosts, though...
However, I really enjoy my career field, though (public relations, marketing, event planning)

No surprise here--driving a racecar full-time professionally, on dirt or paved ovals.
You would get along with my dad well, Outlaw...he used to build stock car engines. I enjoyed going to races here & there, but never really got into it...nor do I claim to really understand all of the rules of the sport (i.e. how drivers get "lapped" & make up those lost laps, etc...lol) We used to go to the Daytona 500 every 4th of July, though, and spend a week at the beach...and I always enjoyed going to the Atlanta race b/c there were a lot of wrecks (I didn't want to see anyone get hurt, but it was exciting & broke up the monotony of loud cars going in circles)...lol

I think you mean the Firecracker 400. The Daytona 500 is always in February.

Thanks for the correction. As I said...I never really got into it...I just knew it was in Daytona and occurred on the 4th of July :)
