Since you aren't bright enough to discern the actual words from what was typed, maybe clarity could be achieved by changing the "y" to "ie" in the first word, and by changing the "e" to a "w" in the second.

THANK YOU! However,'brightness,' is not the point; misspelling IS!

You are welcome, however misspelling only applies to "companys." I believe that "eork" would be considered a typographical error. If you will kindly direct your attention to the top line of letters on your keyboard, you will notice that the "e" and "w" are next to each other. For some who may not have the superior manual dexterity that you so obviously possess, it is probable that he/she simply hit the wrong letter.

If you have trouble understanding any future posts on Topix by our local citizenry, please feel free to ask for Clara Phyer. I will be more than happy to explain in language, grammar, and spelling that is more on your level.

My 'level' is immaterial. My understanding is better than you may guess. My criticism of what often passes for spelling and grammar on Topix is fundamentally correct. YOUR knowledge and assistance are noted and appreciated.

I have to work the 4th but not because my company sucks. People need taken care of even on holidays..... imagine that! Would love to have the day off but oh well. When you have bills to pay, you do what you gotta do.

I also work with people who still have to have care provided, regardless of the holiday. But I enjoy my job and the role I play in people's life. I can celebrate the holiday with them. Just glad to have a job that I enjoy and can count on!

Fundamentally correct? Yes. Necessary, or appreciated? I think not. Does it make you feel somehow superior to point out others' mistakes?

My 'problem,' is that I'm old-school regarding spelling and grammar. I was rigidly taught those subjects in school and mistakes scream out at me. Most I let go--some I can't. It is not superiority that I feel. The deterioration of effective communication saddens me.

Say what you will. I do not accept negativity, and search for positives. Sadly more people project a negative attitude than try to be positive about life.

That's good that you search for positives, because we're all going to die anyway.

The Magician is kindhearted. He sides with those he shares common opinion with. He makes clear valuable points and I love the hell out of him! Perhaps I'm the brown noser...
