They have had ads in the Greeneville Sun all week and they openings are listed as positions not a position. I wonder if the clients are having overnight visits this weekend. Anyone know.

Since I have a BSW degree I worked my way into senior mgmt at CC. It was better then (1990s) and much smaller. We had some good long term staff and others who weren't reliable. I learned a lot from Dr Johnson and left on good terms to take another job. However he was always quick to fire people. He was very experienced with TN labor law and explained to me how TN is a "right to work" state which ironically means a person can be fired on a whim. I remember CC had an excellent training program which was eventually headed by Herb Rupert. Anybody know if Herb is still there?

Herb is gone. His father passed away in 2007 or 08 and he left then.

I work there now. I've been late several times, missed several staff meetings, and I am still employed. Its not as bad as Ppl are saying. Y'all are probably just mad cuz yu got fired. Get over it and stop talking crape. Thank yu. Have a nice day.

Wait, wait, wait, it is possible to be late several times, miss serveral staff meetings, brag about it and appear to be employed if you are in upper management.

If that was true then she would enforce all the rules not just what she wants to enforce at a certain moment.

A supervisor has to be fair across the board and enforce all rules for all staff. If there is selective enforcement then a supervisor loses all credibility. There are favorites that get away with things in all workplaces. Some things - like clocking in late - are documented for all of management to see.

They do keep people who abuse the clients. I know a couple of people who have abused the clients. They have been reported to management and they still work there and they are still abusing clients.

I recently quit working at Comcare, as a support staff for the clients. I have to say, that is the most twisted, unfair, backstabbing, rule bending, money hungry, place I have ever worked!!! Let's say this, "they are not there for the client thats for sure, doesnt matter how sick the client is, how bad the dam weather is etc. Those folks are going to that day program so Comcare can gt the money for them being there. I believe if a client was on their death bed, wait they have been, they would have to come to that day program.
Sad!

Really now. What about moving clients from home to home because they are understaffed. That's not supposed to happen. It's not a rule but I've not seen it in the obits when some of the clients have recently passed away. I see that as a sign of disrespect for the clients but they will say that the family didn't want it in the paper.
