A lot of good things to come, so don't even start. Change happens in every day life so learn to change or find a new job. Simple

Hopefully they'll close it down and save all the wasted tax money. Knowing the state though, they'll probably blow even more money and build a bunch more of them million dollar mansions to put them people in. Their families put them off on the public to take care of. That's about sorry.
How do you think "those people" live else where, or that's right you could care less.

The people who work there don't even know the answer to this question...when we know, we will pass it along. If anyone throws out so called facts or claims they know what's going on just call it b.s. and brush it off.
@ Doyle(only)- you are about a douche bag, let's just call a troll a troll and forget you even typed your invalid opinion.

I agree with its "about sorry" some families dump those poor souls off on the State; however, some don't have any family or have no able-bodied families. Sad situation. We as the tax paying public have to take care of a lot of folks who can't take care of themselves....it's the ones who are able-bodied that WON'T take care of themselves that I have an issue with.

yep, waste of tax dollars. shut it down and make there kin take care of them. i take care of my kin why cant they. and them state workers need to have to get a job doing something except sitting on there butt doing nothing.
So how are the "kin" going to work and pay bills and give care to an individual that needs supervision around the clock? If you are sitting on your ass and taking care of your "kin" then you're probably on welfare and getting that "kin's" check so in saying that, your opinion is pretty much not worth a shit when talking about how we can save tax dollars.

There are too many micro managers out there. Now that regional is on campus I expect some "big" changes to start occurring.

By this time next year, three more homes will be built. More people will move out and techs will be working in those home. There will be too many workers at GVDC and something will have to be done.

Guess you were one of the employees there too. How else would you know they were gvdc employees and that they were there?!?

I just love how everyone thinks they know EVERYTHING that goes on there but NO ONE truly knows every little thing about whats going to happen or what goes on there. I dont know everything nor will I pretend to but the people who live there are the ones suffering the most. It is not the employees who have suffered all these years not knowing who will care for them day in and day out. In most cases, the employees are their family. Yes, the changes coming will affect everyone yet the employees will adapt to the changes and go on about their business.
