I am simply amazed at the legalization of "DRUG DEALING" in this area. Recovery Associates is a rip off. They know that addicts would sell their soul for the drugs and destroy their families, yet for $100 you can get enough to do you all week. Treatment Program - who the hell are they kidding - lol - they stand out side the building trying to buy them as people come out. What a joke. Further, I am amazed that Greene County officials that arrest people for going to the pain clinics in Florida, yet allow Doctors to sell dope in the area just because they are so called Doctor - Or do they have their hand in the till??????? IT REALLY NEEDS TO STOP!!!!!!!!!! GET RID OF RECOVERY ASSOCIATES!!!!!!!!!!

Its better to take one medicine (suboxone) than to run the streets and take anything to get your fix. Each persons recovery is different, but at least they know they have a problem and are trying to help themselves.

I am a recovering addict, and I have been to other clinics besides Recovery Associates, and I can tell you that so far it seems the most legit. You speak with a doctor each time and before you start treatment its made known that they do not do long term maintanence and a system for tapering off eventually is discussed. Its the only clinic I know of that actually gives people a way out if they are seeking one. Some people abuse Recovery Associates and go sell their medications but that can happen at ANY doctor. I wish it was a little less expensive, but in most cases its cheaper than supporting a drug habit illegally.

Sorry for the people who take advantage of that clinic by sellin thier meds. but along with the meds we also do na meetings. the meetings will help you stay clean ...the meds are a short term thing. why put down a place that is here for addicts to get better. i myself is happy they are here. its not tradeing drugs when they do lower the dose of meds and aventually take you off completely,im happy i found recovery and my higher power is god. bob i hope you make it too.

Recovery states not to pick up the first drink or fix.AA or NA doesn't. keep you clean. You must have a spiritual awakening and a desire to stop using.

My spiritual strength led me to Suboxone and it saved my life. Why was I addicted? Because a local doctor (who was also later busted for pill abuse ) kept pushing pills on me saying that it was the only way I could live with the pain after my broken neck. I trusted him and in the end, it destroyed me quick and silently. I never sought pills on the street, just went to my personal Dr.

Until I woke up. Thankfully, Suboxone was there and it saved me on day one. You are unable to get "high" from it, you just don't have opiate withdrawals while u take it.

So, why don't you take your fake Christian self ( a true Christian doesn't judge people ) and have your own "spiritual awakening".

As a Christian, I pray that you or any of your family and friends never become accidentally (or otherwise ) addicted. However, if it happens, I hope Suboxone is there to help.

Seriously?? Blaming a doctor who forced them down your throat, I guess. Get real and get honest. You had a choice! You still have a drug problem if you have replaced suboxone for your pills. It's a drug! Look it up! And guess what? Stopping the opiates cold turkey is not going to kill you. Yep, gonna be sick for a little bit but so what? I know what I'm talking about. I'm a CLEAN recovering addict. Who takes NO mood/mind altering drugs just like our fellowship suggests. You are not clean and definately not in recovery as long as you are putting dope in your body. And, once again, SUBOXONE is DOPE!!

I am so ashamed of people who call themselves christians, and are truly the biggest hypocrites i've ever heard. I first wrote to ask about this clinic and i now know it has helped my son. He no longer runs around half here. He seems to be getting his life back. If those so called christians would truly love their neighbor as they love themselves then they would also know that proverbs says to learn to keep your mouth shut and ears open and they may learn something.
