Let it fly Jen. Hell lots of us used to talk on the radio, I even had a big base unit in my shop with a big ol tube type linear that hummed like a microwave. Still talkin but on a secret frequency now, perks of the job.

We used to have a blast talking and carrying on all the time.CB tag around town was cool too.As time passed I have lost touch with people,Hacksaw, shotgun red, sparkplug, possum, undercove r lover, hot rod, whore runner, etc.Post any you know or knew. All the bear hunters quit CB and went to phones I guess,so that should have freed up several channels, but it seems no one is on them. I'd say kids today couldn't even hook a CB up let alone tune it.
Lots of the cb'ers you mentioned have passd away, shotgun red, sperkplug, possum. hot rod is in n.c., undercover is still around here. most have all but quit. too much drama sometimes and just plain boring anymore.

take a big step and get a ham license. It opens up a whole new world of radio.
It's not that big a step since they did away with the code requirements. I agree though, if you like shootin skip and jaw jackin on a CB, ham radio takes it to a whole new global level - 73

I have been busy, very busy. Too busy really. But it's all good. Back in training now learning to run the "office" and not break it in two. So that big fella of yours is a gear jammer eh? Good deal, this other self proclaimed seat cover has an air leak under his nose. Don't sweat it.

Eh, CB'ing. Just one of those things. I just get annoyed when I see little shitheads running around screaming LOL I TALK ON CB HERP DERP I AM SO COOL!!!

I don't run around with a dinosaur cellphone exclaiming how cool it is. It's one thing to legit talk on CB and enjoy doing so, but to do it to 'look cool' and 'real country' or whatever it is these new age redneck shits are trying to get at, it's not working. All I see is a try hard trying to jump into a generation they don't belong in. Don't take this as EVERYONE young person that uses a CB is automatically that, just the ones that run around thinking they are so much cooler and much more 'adult' than their age group.

I will shove their CB up their ass.

The best radar detector I ever had was my lead foot. Pedal to the metal and it finds every one of those radar traps and identifies them with flashing blue lights. No need to thank me for flushing out those smokies, but I could use a donation to the jail commissary to buy more smokes.

I think he's been sucking his stacks. Lol! It's good to hear that you're doing well. It's better to stay busy than have nothing to do. I stay busy and on the go all the time too. Yep, that feller of mine is a big rigger. I guess it's tradition, his dad drove and both of his brothers. He's mostly local now, only a long trip every now and then.
